Hehe yup, it takes a lot of time to recognize the progress you make, and practice does greatly help, but it’s important to know what you want to practice with, anything you have trouble with and anything you’d want to know more about, references for one are never cheating, I use them all the time for things I’m not quite familiar with, over time I don’t need to use them as much but, they’re really amazing tools to use in helping you build a mental and muscle memory of what you’d like to draw, and that spectrum of what it can help is pretty wide

And here’s a pretty cool demon thingy guy lmao the texture in his wings and the cloth are probably my favorite bit lol

On the Trevi fountain, I can definitely see a few things off but, tbh, the shading and the details in the rocks and water I’m still really proud of ☺️ maybe I’ll redraw it with better measurement and cleaner lines
