when you do coloring you paint all the stuff with a single color and then put the different colors over it, this is so you can just start painting over it with a main color below it which i suppose is the color on the cloths, this helps a lot with shading and effects

this was my first attempt at pixel-art sword, I tried to mimick that pretty shine

something is off about the blade itself

here are some good high quality pixel blades (not mine)
they give you a metal feel and look, yours has a sort of clayish look, getting shading and the feel of metals is pretty difficult though
