Signalis MG5 parts

The full Sci-fi version compared to the OG MG5.

The parts are missing important bits like reciever and the updated cover but that will come later as I'm tired and I just converted the full MG rather than take it apart and modify each.

The key inspirations are M60 for the buttstock and sights, HK121 for the barrel, MG5 for the main body, mag and bipod. Optic is the C79 Optical Sight, an old cold-war optic.

Imo the flamberge effect (waves) are too tight in comparison to other greatswords. They are more spaced out because of the forging process and also to not affect cuts too much.

However since this is a fantasy design it can harken to veins and bloodstreams, so it works perfectly well for that.

As a guide I would do two or three more pixels that smoothen the transition for every wave. The waves on your design actually work for smaller swords like the Kris, but for a greatsword it would be harder to pull off irl.

In the lore: Idk she probably just has good genetics and her hair doesnt really get damaged too much since its normally in the space buns 24/7. She also probably got it trimmed by someone else, now that I think of it, more so to stop her from eventually sitting on it or tucking it into her trousers or something stupid, but it would help make it look nice too.

Hello friend, just dropping some advice when drawing future swords at this larger scale. The crossguard could be made thicker if you're going for a more realistic look, the tang (the bar piece of your pommel) in this image would be a closer approximation to a crossguard.

Of course this varies per sword type but in general they're quite chunky and long in order to catch swords properly if you're going for longswords.

I would also reccomend looking into fuller (shallow part of the sword) types such as double fuller swords or even the five fuller dagger for variety if you want to space out broader swords. Hope this helps!

Anyway a fellow gun enthusiast friend of mine informed me that the PGM Hecate II I drew was actually closer to the FNV AMR rather than the real Hecate II. So I am currently re-scaling and redesigning it to be closer to actual scale and design (stock is going to be fixed later but most changes have been made already).

True scale PGM Hecate II. This is closer to the real Hecate II, however due to a lack of HD reference material (only 11 in the U.S with few images) I had to extrapolate the bolt, magazine, and front part of the handguard from other Hecate variants like the Mini Hecate.

Proper size comparison to the sci-fi guns. Still beefy but not unreasonably gigantic as earlier.

Uliria would later be taken over by the Maccan dynasty lead by one Big Mac and the nation would become the reigning one before Miku would eventually gain the status of the chosen one and dethrone Big Mac, ruling as Mac's supreme leader with an ultimately ethnonationalist regime bent on protecting the human race by dominating the other elven continents

the ethnic cleansing of elves with humans would become the national slogan "Il sogno d'Uliriano" and still remains especially prevalent within rewoken uliria which was the rebel kingdom miku lead to eventually take the throne of the Maccan empire

however rewoken uliria now sits as a microstate on Erego right above mac

Amaria has an entirely different condition entirely. Being isolated from the rest of human civilization in the Maccan continent meant that they accustomed to the neighbouring elven states and in about 3/5 simulations they even form an alliance with damarcia and seraria

basically the human race is the highlight of these simulations in most of these

Baastion is a civilization within the alien invasion timeline wherein aliens colonised humans to create the republic of Lora in place of Miku's imperialist Maccan state

Miku would eventually rebel against the colonisers, creating the human-alien federation named "Baastion" where she would die fighting in the process but not in vain
