Eye dissection

These hosts often hide in dark areas at this stage of the fungi growth only going out at night

The idea is the light hits the disk and the strands react by pulling on it
This will tell them where light is and where potential hosts are Based on which eyes are activated

These eyes are not eyes but instead are light sensitive fungus bulbs

These bulbs will grow and fill with spores till they burst in a chain reaction killing the host but spreading the spores

The hosts body will then be used to grow as may eyes as possible till there is no more nutrients left

It's an abugida, the vowels aren't actual letters

They're diacritics

An abjad has no vowels written down at all

I based it off Georgian and partly off armenian

I shine my torch, a dim reprieve from the dark horror.

I know soon it shall run out and my entrails eternally tangle at the thought, and my two stomachs churn, a horrible thought.

The light dims, and my head flashs with a flood of pain and panic, I know it will come to a end soon but I did not think so soon.

I gather my items with my spindly fingers, my bone collection and my books.

I have many books, given to me as a spawn, some talk of the days light was common, and the darkness and what lays within it.

My flashlight is almost dead, it is flashing, I scurry and dig at the dark hard cold slate ground, the resistance of the rock is strong but I am persistent.

The flashlight has faded now, I feel my spines rending, and my nails ripping, the pain is unfathomable.

I can barely dig now but now it is almost impossible to feel my fingers and my arms tire.

My life fades like the blood drying on the ground from my father's corpse, and the darkness consumes me.
