A friend of mine and I are creating four conlangs (constructed languages) based on the four WorldBox races

Here are the sound charts for the four languages (for anyone who is linguistically apt enough to read them, but I still think it constitutes as art in some form)

Essentially they're all part of one language family

Progenitor language splits off into Elvish (the most divergent), Human, and Orco-Dwarvish, which will further split into Orcish and Dwarvish themselves

Orcish is probably gonna be the least changed from the proto-language

Basically what we did to figure out what sounds each language would have is grab a sample of city/clan/kingdom/culture/unit names, look the orthography of everything and decide what everything means phonologically, even if we had to do some extrapolation with some sounds

the way worldbox generates names for things makes everything linguistically very strange and frankly it isn't very naturalistic but I get that it'd probably go too far if they made a whole system of language for simple naming

and that's our job anyway
