part of the reason that we're in the 6th millenia is because of these guys

of the 12 original royal houses, the last royal house only made it just shy of 5000 years as the last heir died of old age after his children were killed by a meteor strike and an ambush.

anyways, with the last royal houses gone, no one is able to legitimize the ascension of clans to a noble house, meaning that once the last noble house goes, everyone goes
