For example, if a kingdom is ruled mostly by the same clan, it’s most likely to be stable due to the better relations the leaders woukd have with the ruling clan
If two kingdoms were ruled by the same clans, then they too would also have better relations

Clans help with succession because the next in line is usually the one just below the clan chief

There was once a great empire on the early stage of the world but it been tumbled by revolutionary, the result of it created new realms to arise and so began all out war on others. Out of all, the kingdom of Great Ys stand as the victor. It soon became the 2nd empire ceasing all realm except The Ichymup that had revolt against the 1st empire.

As centuries goes on, there were peace upon the world. Neither there were bloodshed nor disturbance, it was a paradise world for all but it won't last for eternity, God knows it. On the southern west of the world, an uproar of revolt emerged and so born Realm of The Chikeh. Both of the realm fought, the outcome between the two came favor to the Chikeh and Great Ys Empire was forced to let them lived. After 5 years, another revolt emerge and so came realm of Great Omosh.

Currently, Great Omosh and Great Ys Empire are at war and it seems the Great Ys are winning. However, Realm of the Chikeh is planning to join the war against the aggressor.
