The war for the north was a conflict waged by two of the biggest powers. "The huw" to the west and "chu" to the east. The huw were a fast growing kingdom as the great famines were avoided due to being the first to adopt agriculture and so had a large population compared to the chu.
The king of the huw was a man named llavo who lived in the city of ochuwdran

But yes, the 100 person limit forces colonies to expand out.
Once they hit the limit, in order to have babies, they need to expand.
No. It just makes it more likely. If they have boats, then they'll almost always got to a new land.

1: Pausing the Game
2: Giving them the Mad Trait
3: Getting them blessed which removes it
