Soldiers will have different roles as attacker and defenders the defenders do there best to defend the city they are in and repair any damages they can repair attckers cause damage to buildings and army's not civilians (at least yet) and if they do it will cause outrage amongst the other kingdoms and a war will only end when they kill the king or they openly surrender and different outcomes come about depending on the king

Civilization update
In it there will be

Different governments for example
democratic: people elect representatives that forms a group to govern the country
Republic: the people elect the one leader
Theocracy: god (technically you) controls the country/kingdom
Autocracy: like a king but will have some restrictions
Technocracy: ruler is chosen for being smart and wise (can maybe create electricity)
Fascism: one culture with its leader of that culture in full control
Anarchy: no one in charge but still had a army with generals that lead soldiers
Monarchy: the og but the hier is the eldest son to youngest (if none the kingdom goes into civil war)
Oligarchy: 1 faction rules over the others are usually terminated
Plutocracy: ruled by rich (yes there will be money and will play most important in this government)
Tyranny: 1 ruler no limitations on his rule
Totalitarian: 1 political group is Supreme sometimes has a figure head they terminate rival political groups
Federation: the rulers of the cities have power, deal with internal affairs and are elected by the people and 1 Supreme leader that handles external affairs
Communism: 1 person controls industry and government
Junta (happens after a coup): a group runs the country
Dictatorship: 1 person/group rules freely
Rebellions and coups
Rebellion is when people hate what the state is doing and some people form a group that fights the military it dosen't happen instantly and has a high chance of losing unless >50% loyalty then most people fight the local military and have a 75% chance in taking over unless the army from the other cities arrive
A coup is when the government is really hated a rebellion group is formed and either captures or kills the ruler/rulers

The defensive army forms after they reach a population of 30 or more and will never leave the city border. And their "general"(the guy who Carries the banner) will have a banner with a shield on it

The offensive army won't form until a city reaches a population 50 or more and will patrol around the city until they go on a military campaign. The general Carries a banner that has a sword on it.

Religion:
some form of religion that can start out of nowhere or you can start that way some wars can be more dynamic because 1 country can like religion a while another likes religion b
Alliances:
Trade kingdom a needs wood and has alot of stone and kingdom b needs stone and has alot of wood form a trading alliance to get the resources you need are you blocked off by the sea use a trading ship designed to carry the goods to the other kingdom and back
Are you and another kingdom fighting a stronger kingdom well then form a temporary alliance to take out the kingdom
Are you being eyed up by a stronger kingdom and have a friendly neighboring kingdom form a defensive alliance to protect you and them
Are you great friends with the leader(s) of that kingdom/country form an alliance with the benefit of the other 3 alliances
Outcomes of war:
You defeated the other kingdom/country well what will you do now 1st the civilians of that country what do you do to them 4 choices
Let them survive they will still live their lives normally sometimes a little different
Exile them drive them out of thier land its yours now anyways so your people can have more room
Turn them into slaves give your people the pleasure that they won and have new workers that don't need money (or you just don't give them it) they will hate it but what can they do revolt hahaha (they can)
Kill them why keep them alive they could hold a grudge and come back stronger wouldn't want that just you know... end them
The kingdom itself you also have four choices
Leave them be there might be some territory lost from them to you but hey they should be fine just leave them alone
Puppet state it's as if it was your city but not you control the inside they control nothing yet they say they do
Annexation you won just take it all over more land right
Destruction you must hate them so much that you go on a rampage destroying all the buildings

Different civilizations:

Merchant can be from the kingdom its in or another that sells a bunch of stuff kings buy from them alot

The tumors should be able to spawn special varieties of tumor creatures (exploding units, units with tendrils and maybe zombie tumor hybrids?). Units such as mages or other special units should turn into a special tumor creature. Also dragons should be able to be turned into a tumor creature, as well as a mushroom creature.

Kings and Village leaders updates.
Okay, so at the moment, kings and village leaders don’t do much. They sit around, and if you have a kingdom you like, you prey they don’t suck. So how about a update? This update will add 3 major things. Updated rebellions, Corruption, and economy.
I’ll go over Economy first, as it’s probably the most alien to WorldBox. At the moment gold is pretty pointless, civilizations use them to make pretty statues, how special. The statues will still be constructed, but only for extremely rich Kingdoms. 5-30 coins will be made every 20 seconds based off of the age of a kingdom. Of course, if a kingdom reaches its 30 coins per 20 seconds, that number can go down, based on the corruption of the kingdom (which I’ll get into later) People will make money by mining and farming wheat, miners who get gold and iron will get 5 coins, rocks will only get 2 coins, wheat gets 4 coins. There’s also a tax system, also based on corruption. The Tax system is a tad confusing, based on the corruption system as well. Village leaders have they’re own corruption system, and they decide how much to tax the citizens every minute (5-15 coins based off of corruption ofc) every 10 minutes, the kingdom taxes the villages, so if the villages have enough money, the amount of money that is being taxed (kingdoms will tax between 5-35 based off of corruption ofc) however if a village can’t pay it off, the village will go into poverty. Based off of corruption, kingdoms would either send money over to try and get the village out of poverty, or call it a “lost cause” and give it independence. Did I say what happens when a village goes into poverty? They have no money, taxes go through the roof, they’re economy is in shambles, everyone is starving, and buildings are slowly collapsing in on themselves. The kingdom slowly starts losing tiles, until eventually, the entire recently made independent village falls and the citizens die of hunger. It’s too long, Gimme a sec

Alright part 2, still continuing on economy, if a village somehow gets out of poverty, the kingdom would take 5 or so years to return to a decent state. Now you know what would happen if a village went bankrupt, but how does a kingdom go into poverty? Well it’s simple, every 20 minutes, villages get %5-20 out of the budget of the kingdom, the time limit could go up to 3 minutes if the kingdom is corrupt enough, so 20-3 based off of corruption. Villages also take 20% of the budget when a kingdom is corrupt. So we know how it happens, but what happens when a kingdom goes into the negatives? Well, all the villages aren’t just all kicked out, no. Instead everyone goes into panic. Nobody is allowed to just relax, everyone has to do something, and they all only get one coin for it. All the resources gained go into trade, for coins ofc, if a kingdom can’t pull out of bankruptcy, everyone starves, taxes go up to 50 coins, the buildings slowly collapse in on themselves again, until the kingdom slowly dies out. That’s a thing I didn’t mention, kingdoms can trade resources for money. Anyways I’ll go into the updated rebellions in a sec here

So scrap the 7/4 thing, you won’t need it anymore, if a kingdom isn’t quite in bankruptcy but is nearing close to it, or people in a village are starving and they’re economy is in ruins, they’ll rebel, it starts with one guy holding a sign, until it eventually spreads to the “The people of ____ have revolted” this one was rather short because god knows how much corruption will take up

corruption, the final thing in my idea for a Kings and Village leaders update idea. A newly formed kingdom starts off at 50% corruption, so in between. It all depends on the village leader and king really, if the king is good at heart, that kingdom will flourish, however, if a king is morally evil, it’ll probably fall in a matter of WorldBox years. A corrupt village leader taxes the people more, that’s all, normally this happens because of a corrupt king. A corrupt king goes to war more often, taxes the people more, and makes sure most people join the army, they also barely trade with any other kingdom until the time comes. However a morally correct kingdom will trade often, barely cause war, only have as much of a military as they need, and over all do much better economy wise. Anything between full corruption or complete moral correction is either one turned down. It’s important to note that with the death of one king, a corrupt kingdom could go to a morally correct kingdom, and a morally correct kingdom could become corrupt. I think these updates could really add some diversity to the WorldBox kingdoms

Naval Warfare Update
Boats should be more essential in wars overseas, instead of being just a transport ship. Here are some ideas to make them more interesting.
The warships can shoot a small explosion that does area of damage to enemy warships. It will take 6 seconds to reload the ability, but if a ship is carrying more than 25 passengers then the reload time will decrease by 2 second since there are more crew members available on the ship.

Trade ships will try to avoid and flee from warships, but they can still defend against them with a barrage of arrows if the warships get too close. The barrage of arrows will consist of 15 arrows or more.

Warships cannot retaliate if they are docked or are loading up troops. (I think this will make transportation of troops more vital and dangerous, which can give a small nation a chance to win a war against a stronger nation by destroying their warships when they are vulnerable, negating their numerical advantage)

Fishing boats will be docked at the nearest port or patrol near the shorelines if a war has started since it is unsafe for them to fish at sea during a war. (I think this makes more sense than fishing boats still continuing their regular routines in a middle of war)

Warships will be faster than either the trade ship or fishing boat (Which I think makes the most sense)

There will be an admiral unit for warships to rally upon during a war, like a general on land, but there can only be one admiral at a time for a nation. (I think this will make boats more crucial to a nation’s war effort in my opinion)

Soldiers and Generals update, part: soldiers

Okay okay, so the military is far more important then a king, (which is what I suggested to fix in my Kings and Village leaders update) But this suggestion is more in the realm of possibility. I’ll start with soldiers first, currently there are 2 types of soldiers, Sword troopers and Bow troopers, but let’s add a 3rd, cannon troopers, now before you mass downvote, cannons are already in the game, look at the battleship, you can see them attached onto the ship. Cannon troopers don’t move much, when they do it’s slow. However, when they fire, at most, one cannon ball can take out 10 troopers, if the troopers are lined up in a straight line that is. Let’s add a 4th, horse troopers, horse troopers are normal troopers, but they move faster, because horses. And a 5th, flag carriers, he can’t do anything, he holds a flag with the kingdom’s color, but he’s very important, if he dies, the rest of the troopers retreat. And the 6th and final, the doctor, if a trooper is at 30% health, the doctor will heal them, normally 2 of them accompany the batch of troopers. If a trooper goes down to 5% they retreat from battle, leaving the rest of the troops to battle, however flag carriers and generals cannot do this unless all the other troopers retreat. Speaking of flag carriers, 2 archers and sword carriers always guard the flag carriers. There’s also the level up system. Everyone starts off as a archer, or sword wielder, if they are in the military for 3 years, they level up to Flag carrier, which is more of a downgrade but whatever, if they last 4 years after becoming a flag carrier, they made be upgraded to a horse trooper, 6 years in the military after that makes the trooper a doctor, and 8 years makes the trooper a general.

Part 2: generals

So what does a general do? Well there are 4 different tactics a different general would do, good defense, good attack, bad defense, and bad attack. It depends on the general really. A new general is more likely to use a bad defense or attack. However a veteran general is more likely to use good attack and defense, ofc there’s a chance that good generals will be good off the bat, and veteran soldiers will be hot garbage, it depends really. For attack, troopers will be in an triangle formation, general in the middle, sword troopers in the front, archers in the middle, horse troopers next to the archers, doctors behind the archers, cannon troopers next to the archers, and flag carrier in the back. Now for defense, the defense formation is in a square formation, thin layer of sword troopers up front, thick layer of archers, cannon troopers on the sides. Doctors next to them, horse riders behind the doctors, the general behind, along with the flag carrier, and the bad versions? Those but bad if that makes sense

it would be cool to see the different species have shepherds who take care of animals like sheep and cows. Maybe have a pasture with fences around it so the villagers/Shepards could wrangle the animals and lead them to the pens. Once the animals are there, the shepards could have a mechanic to breed and slaughter the animals to keep a stable herd population to keep the villages supplied with fresh meat. I can see this being nice so that the humanoid species don’t keep wiping out the animals. I would imagine the humans would make heavy use of this while the orcs with their current genocidal tendency to kill everything would see these as huge targets.

Buildings can be added to current towns, in which they become inhabited, or be added to the wilderness in which they act as neutral buildings where anyone can claim them. The Union Update

Remember when I said my military idea had the best change of being added? That is no longer true. I’ll go over 3 things, alliances, pacts, and unions. I’ll start with Unions first, Unions can form from lots of places, a few kingdoms are having trouble with they’re villages, well they’ll all form a Union to fix that, or if kingdoms are constantly being attacked, a Union will form, or if kingdoms have a high chance of being invaded, they’ll form a Union. So how does a Union work? Well it’s simple, it’s like a kingdom, but with tons of kings, and they can handle more then the average 8 villages, basically if 4 kingdoms are in a Union, it’s how many villages a kingdom can handle, so 4+5+3+8=20, so that Union can handle 20 villages, the military is also stacked up, meaning that if really powerful kingdoms form a Union, they can dominate. Union leaders are lead by Union leaders, kings keep they’re roles, and so do village leaders.

So we know how unions work, but what about pacts?
Pacts are simple, a pact forms, a few kingdoms join, and they defend eachother, there is no leader, it doesn’t count as one big kingdom, it’s just a pact so that kingdoms won’t attack each other and will instead help eachother.

Alliances are somewhat more complicated, but not by much, if a war breaks out between a dozen kingdoms, a alliance will form, this alliance works like a pact, accept when the war has ended, the alliance will dissolve and its every kingdom for itself again.

-Not so smart to which they would be able to build intricate tools and weapons (mining ore) but perhaps just enough to make stone clubs or something.

-They would/ should only be at the Stone Age. Where there houses are mere huts, or even lesser.

-High Health and damage, but not very smart in other categories.

-Is kind of far fetched 😅 but it would add a further “fantastic Atmosphere” to the game.

When I'm spectating wars, I'd like to determine who the 'good guy' and the 'bad guy' is. Right now, I just look at the traits of Kings. Maybe, late game, you could have the races form Democracies? Oligarchies? (gasp) Communism?

Or, perhaps just a little indicator that says the morals of the rulers. I don't know.

(I suggested this a while ago, but I’m adding onto it.) Stats, like in d&d. There would be strength, dexterity, constitution, charisma, intelligence, and wisdom. Strength increases damage and crit chance, dexterity increases speed and attack speed constitution increases health when leveling up, charisma increases diplomacy, intelligence increases warfare, and wisdom increases stewardship.

It would show up in their profile as a bar with a number next to it, correlating to the amount it’s filled. This wouldn’t take away traits, but traits would add onto the stats (so if a unit has the “strong” trait they have extra strength). Every time they level up, one of their stats is randomly increased, the higher ones being more likely to be upgraded.

You are able to toggle a button (in a generated world) that allows you to view the auto generated names of various bodies of waters (Ex: Sellsword Sea, The Dark Lake, the Misty Isles of Burnaii, Birvas). Of course, you can always untoggle this. Obviously you are able to rename them to your liking.

I think this would only work for generated worlds, but if possible, I would like a feature that allows you to customize these names and placement for your own worlds.

Lastly, any creature that witnesses 'The Cultivator' fight has a one in a centillion chance to receive the 'Enlightenment' trait.

Combat update:
-medics:in each army, there will be one unit assigned as the medic, this unit will not fight, but if a unit is near it, it will heal it. If an army isn't fighting, the medic will go from injured unit to injured unit and heal them.
-new stat: courage, if a unit has more that 50% courage, it will fight to the death, but with less, it will flee to the medic when under half health. Courage is calculated with the amount of soldiers in the army the unit is fighting it vs the amount of soldiers left in the enemy army, whether they have armor or not, and traits such as honest and bloodthirsty.

-armies can be formed on specific weapons and traits, this army will be independent from a specific city but will belong to a country. These armies can be pyromaniac armies, archer armies, spearman, swordsmen, veterans…
-new types of injuries: broken bone (speed and attack speed are slower, heals over time), dismembered arm (cannot use weapons and cannot use tools, they just exist but can't do anything, they become civilians) or leg (speed halved) these injuries don't heal. Blind (cannot see anything, not warriors anymore) 
-weapons have a chance of causing bleeding, which causes a unit to lose health over time.
-ranks: footmen (0 kills, normal warrior), captain (5 kills, lead 10 people and are given armor), sergeant (15 kills, lead 2 captains), commanders (30 kills, lead the entire army of a city), general (40 kills and Veteran trait, do not fight and live in the capital, the can order all the armies to attack a single city, and give boosts to all warriors, similar to a blessing)

  2. Kingdoms should sometimes experience inflation or deflation depending on their financial situation. The kingdoms experiencing inflation might increase taxes and in turn, more people will be starving as well as people losing jobs. And the kingdoms experiencing deflation will have fewer starving people. However, deflation and inflation do not stay forever so it will naturally pass over time.

  3. People within a kingdom may not have the same views as the kingdom does and as more people like this appear they form a group these groups might try to overthrow the kingdom; some groups may summon demons into the kingdom. Other groups might contract a powerful wizard to destroy the kingdom. Some will even betray the kingdom and leak important information to a rival kingdom. Of course, this will only happen if the leader of the group is highly intelligent.

It would be nice if they gave them better artificial intelligence. I would also like there to be bridges, sometimes I create nearby islands and see how difficult it is for inhabitants of island 1 to invade island 2, but when I put a thin layer of land so that they can attack each other, it hinders the flow of boats. Tumors should have different forms if they don't already, kind of like how the forest monsters react to different situations, this could come with disadvantages as well.

-Small tumors like the basic ones will NOT be able to swim but they will be able to merge together after a bit, either making them be able to swim or be able to fly over water

-Water tumors will sort of be like piranha plants, just killing anything within the waters near the base tumor.

-Air tumors will fly over the water and land on a targets land, attacking anything on sight, they'll also be able to carry some tumors by random.

Maybe add Medusa? This could be either a entity you could spawn or something that'll spawn in by chance (Like bee hives, but more rare)

Medusas abilities will be, that she could turn others into stone. Once these people are turned into stone they could either become stone warriors or be there for decoration.

Medusa could have allies such as stone gargoyles or just anything stone in general as she will turn nearly anything into stone if she looks at them.

And, with the chance of human adaptation, maybe add a armor that'll give a perk to the wearer that they could resist Medusas stone effect? This'll help people slay Medusa, but it'll be hard to make by the humans, elves, dwaves, orks etc.

Medusa CAN die of things like meteors, natural disaster etc but humans and creatures will have a hard time landing blows on her.

I think it would be cool if there was a small chance someone will be born with the “adventurous “ trait. In this scenario, they will meet up with others with that trait to form a party. They can be from different races or even warring kingdoms. The party has a limit of up to 10 people. They start off with leather armor and wooden tools, and then head out to the nearest monster, whether that be a bandit or a dragon. If they defeat it, they get higher priority of gear from their kingdom. For each enemy they defeat that priority gets higher (scales with difficulty, so killing a zombie isn’t as great as killing a dragon). If there are no monsters, they will sit and wait for them to spawn. If they get the crippled trait while battling, they retire, and have higher priority to become a general, soldier, or king. If an adventurer gets to level 10, statues of them will be built in their home village. If the developers wanted, they could make it even more like dnd by adding in different classes (like paladin or wizard), but that would probably be far too complex.

I would suggest a new building/proffession, the mage, every city could build their wizard tower (or whatever they build e.g. humans could build a tower, orcs smt. like a tent, elves more like a treehouse and dwarves.... some building xd)

The Human Mage would just battle with magic projectiles and if not in battle use his magic to make farmers more effetive. His mana regenerates if hes in his tower.

Something I would really like would be that every race gets a special troup, for exaple:
Humans could get a Assasin guild/assansines, these people would be able to deal massive damage to single targets (Like kings, high level people, generalls) but would be weak against multiple enemys.

Elves could get a ranger, he would be able to shoot farther and faster that normal archers.

Orcs could get a warlord he would basicly be really strong, dumb and blood thirsty, maybe he has some kind of "rage mode" that make him super strong for limited time and after that he woudl need to rest a while.

Last but not least Dwarves could get a funny unit like the axe-legend, he would use an axe and spins to damage enemys around him, also he would be more actobatic aka faster movment and attack speed.

Interspecies breeding. This only works if there are villages that can handle multiple species but essentially when they breed the offspring is 50 percent this 50 percent this and they also get one trait from one another. Also a species can’t breed if they hate each other. Also you can see the percent they are of a species and he food they make will be determined by the highest percentage. If it is equal they can only make bread. Also you can see a units parents but only their parents and you can click on it and see their parents and you can go back for generations without the jankyness of a straight up family tree

Interracial kingdoms? So when you start off only units of the same race will build a kingdom. But if a units happiness is low enough, they will immigrate to another random village (of a different kingdom). That village could be of a different race or the same race. People will also move countries if their village has been ravaged by war, or been completely destroyed/taken over. Government positions (soldiers, generals, leaders) will still be employed by members of the original race, unless the king has an “equalist” trait, in which case those positions could be taken by any race.

This update would mean that soldiers of a different race wouldn’t kill civilians, unless they have the bloodlust trait.

If a villages racial demographic is much different from the capitals, and the king doesn’t have the equalist trait, they will have a debuff to their relationship (ex: a kingdom of orcs has taken over a mainly human village. The orc king doesn’t allow them to become soldiers or leaders. This leads to a worsened diplomatic score). The debuff increases if the races hate each other, so humans and orcs will have an increased debuff.

I have thought of a way to spice nations a little. Make it so that a nation can be a Kingdom or a Republic. Kingdoms will be able to have rebellions which support democracy (Republic) and those rebellions won't stop till one side is destroyed or the God wants to stop it. Also Kingdom will have a bigger army and taxes but the Republic will be able to have more cities under its control. Also for Republics there will be elections every 10 years witch will actually be about who has the best traits.

This would add to the world creation part of game, which I think deserves an update. more realistic plagues, they can have symptoms and have different infectivity rates,there can be 2 or more different types of plagues and they all have different stats.

it depends how infectious and severe a plague is depending on the environment it starts. if it gets released on a snowy environment then its more infectious on the cold and less on the hot.
you can inspect the plague and it shows their stats.
Symptoms that can be in a plague include:
Coughing, Coughing reduces 10 health every day and it spreads the virus on a 5 pixel radius, anybody in this radius gets infected.
Paralyzation, people infected with a plague with this symptom will mostly stay on their houses and move slow.
Rashes, if you inspect a person with this symptom they will have red spots all over their sprite (it shows this on the overworld too) they move slow.
Sneezing, its pretty much just coughing but more infectious
i cant think of anymore symptoms so ill go over to the infectivity.

if theres alot of symptoms on a plague the more infectious it becomes.

i also dont have anything to think about the infectivity

the plagues can mutate over time and some variants have less symptoms or more symptoms.

It would also be cool if npc's could board ship.

You should also make it so people can fight in the water so like maybe they can have a knife that they can fight with.

We need more marine animals like, sharks, dolphins, salmon, tropical fish.

Fishing rods if they don't exist already.

Also I have noticed that piranhas don't even spawn all by themselves, please make it so they do.

I've been playing WorldBox for a long time, and as most players agree, making old, history rich and imaginative worlds is one of the most entertaining things in the game, I have an idea to enrich this play style.

We already have tiers in the game, villages start with tents and move to massive stone mansions over time. They start with only making wood tools and then working their way all the way up to adamantine arsenals. What I suggest is the ability to control this.

I think the ability to set a world rule on the max tier reachable or even specific kingdoms tiers would be amazing. Now watch while I fantasize a sec. Imagine a iron age civilization of humans in the strife of rebellion goes into ocean and finds an Elven colony of mythril craftsmen, they kill them off by simple numbers. Their weaponry can be found these days, 5,000 years later, in the hands of the greatest warriors and richest of kings. Their skill has never been matched. You hear me???

I think the ability to manage which level a kingdom is at would be fantastic. Probably won't happen, I can't imagine how immensely complex this would be to program but it's definitely on my list of things I hope to see in my life, lol.

More manifestations. You can summon yourself in as Crabzilla and destroy things but you kinda destroy everything just by being around. I think it'd be much more interesting to be able to have more forms you can turn into.

Two interesting ideas for more manifestations that I came up with would be:

Gigadruid form: Animals and druids will follow around you. Terrain where you walk will turn into forest tiles and grow flowers/trees. By left clicking, you can send your horde to go somewhere or attack. Right clicking will turn trees in an area around where you clicked alive. When you leave this form, the area will explode into flowers, bushes, trees and so forth. It'd be a fun little thing to where if you spend a good amount of time in elven cities, they will build you a temple with your avatar.

Dark Lord form: Demons, Cold Ones, Necromancers, Undead, and Evil Mages will no longer attack each other around you. They will also attempt to follow you. Wherever you walk, smolders the land (making it dark like fire does). Your left-click essentially replicates lava being struck with lightning wherever you click. Right click will cause madness in an aoe around where you click. Whenever you go back to god-mode, you make a big flaming blast and all nearby living entities are converted into skeletons. Civilizations where you commonly roam will stop wars and attempt to fight your hordes together. A deceitful ruler may take this as an opportunity to attack once their "allies" are destroyed.

Obviously more things to become and change your world with would be more fun but this is just what I had for an idea at the moment. Just more options in a way to interact in the world rather than physically edit the landscape, making one kingdom all powerful, or obliterating the entire world with goo or tumors would be fantastic.

Bloodthirsty - this is another meter for a person, (The trait "Bloodlust" will add more to the meter) the more bloodthirsty a soldier is they will kill civilians and even children and will go in the houses themselves to find and kill them.

Civilians will now hide in their homes when their village is getting attacked, same thing goes for kings and leaders, they will hide in their town hall castle thing (idk what its called)

Cannibalistic - this is a new trait where if a person is almost starving to death with nothing to eat they will find any human close to them and eat them, if another person sees this they will try to kill the one who tried to eat another person.

Courage - the more courage a soldier has, the most likely they will fight to the death, if a person has less courage then they will run back to the medic if below 50% health.

Bloodthirsty - this is another meter for a person, (The trait "Bloodlust" will add more to the meter) the more bloodthirsty a soldier is they will kill civilians and even children and will go in the houses themselves to find and kill them.

Civilians will now hide in their homes when their village is getting attacked, same thing goes for kings and leaders, they will hide in their town hall castle thing (idk what its called)

if a kingdom is gonna naval invade but their village gets attacked before they get to attack then the boat will disembark the soldiers on their village to defend it

Boats can have naval battles, like soldiers on the deck shooting stuff

big kingdoms will try to kill those who will revolt in the future (example: a king and his soldiers will kill some civilians and leaders of a village with low loyalty)Misc

Plagues

more realistic plagues, they can have symptoms and have different infectivity rates,there can be 2 or more different types of plagues and they all have different stats.

it depends how infectious and severe a plague is depending on the environment it starts. if it gets released on a snowy environment then its more infectious on the cold and less on the hot.
you can inspect the plague and it shows their stats.
Symptoms that can be in a plague include:
Coughing, Coughing reduces 10 health every day and it spreads the virus on a 5 pixel radius, anybody in this radius gets infected.
Paralyzation, people infected with a plague with this symptom will mostly stay on their houses and move slow.
Rashes, if you inspect a person with this symptom they will have red spots all over their sprite (it shows this on the overworld too) they move slow.
Sneezing, its pretty much just coughing but more infectious
i cant think of anymore symptoms so ill go over to the infectivity.

if theres alot of symptoms on a plague the more infectious it becomes.

i also dont have anything to think about the infectivity

the plagues can mutate over time and some variants have less symptoms or more symptoms.

I feel like it would be cool if they added more to the kingdom system. I have this game on my phone and I really enjoy it, building civilizations and watching how they declare war on each other is a lot of fun.

However, they usually aren't that good at defending their homeland. The armies usually go to a ship to prepare for a raid, but if that happens while they are being invaded the raid will continue and the army will leave the city. I feel like it would be pretty cool if they could build defensive watchtowers that archers will go on, and as the kingdom advances it would be pretty cool if they built walls around their villages.

Maybe if the defenses become impenetrable the opposing force could build siege weapons, early civilizations could start with ladders and move their way up to catapults. Though with this idea you'd have to make bigger ships if the catapults are on an island.

If something like this does happen it would be cool if each race had different interests, the dwarves would probably be defensive and prioritize walls, humans would probably be balanced in between, orcs would probably be offensive and prioritize siege weapons or big numbers, I'm not sure about elves though.

Anyway, just an idea.

country can form treaty. Most leader won’t break the treaty unless they have trait that … and if they do, it decrease the loyalty of village in it kingdom and it will effect the surrounding village that touch it border and far land village by decrease their relationship.

Defend treaty, the kingdom that want protection can propose this treaty to offer to be vassal (not village into be incorporated in the kingdom) for another kingdom. The kingdom can then take all of it resource or part of resource the vassal gather.

Neutral treaty, kingdom that make this propose will stand firmly neutral unless other kingdom that sign this treaty get attacked too, it will attack until it get conquer or the other side. This treaty can’t not be offer to supreme or any nation that have more than 2 village. If village sign this treaty get 3 village there is chance for it to be kick out depend on trait of other country and it own leader trait.

First of all, I really like this game, it is an incredible god simulator and really fun to play around with. This game has plenty of features already, but I think it would be really cool if there were Bandit camps. Bandit camps would come up in the same way as human cities. If there are 5 bandits in a certain radius they will create a camp. The camps would expand and create cities just like humans do. And occasionally they would go after a human city. They could pillage the city taking most of their resources.

Similar to the bandit camps, there could be Cold Ones and Demon “countries.” (Both the bandits, cold ones, and demons could have a special “kingdoms” tab. It would show the exact same things as the humanoid tab.) But for the cold ones and demons every city would have a flame/ice tower which would act as the town center.

To add on to a previous suggestion to make is so that anything takes damage to stray arrows and that fact will alter the diplomacy sometimes, make it so that sometimes the battalions of soldiers will sometimes conduct drills/training that will take resources and also cause them to shoot their bows/use swords. The drills will slowly deplete the soldier's health until the drill stops or until the soldier reaches 10 health, where then the soldier will detach. Soldiers can also get injured. The drills will give the soldiers more XP, and traits like Veteran, One-eyed (if they get injured), etc. The drills will also affect the diplomacy of 2 kingdoms (1 kingdom may feel pressure, the drills may create a casus belli [marco polo bridge incident moment], arrows may hit civillians, etc.). Drills may have multiple segments, they may occur randomly, and they may occur anywhere in the Kingdom. Drills may also end prematurely if something happens (i.e. invasion, enemy spotted). Also make a progress bar (like the invasion bar) for the drill above the city in which the drill happens. Drill can occur nationally, or by battalion.

Tomb House-
When a country has enough resources such as (300 stone), They will build a Tomb House for their dead soldiers. Once a soldier dies others will recover the dead body and put it in the Tomb House. If in battle both of the opposing sides will hold a truce and take turns going different times to recover their force’s dead bodies, Once all the fighting is done to put them in the Tomb House. To see the names, You can tap the Tomb House, Which will display the soldier's names in a drop-down menu also showing when it was built, The age, and who built it.

What comes along with it-
During the time of retrieval, People with a Thief/ Grave Robber trait will try to steal the bodies or try to loot them. However, If a country can't retrieve its soldier's dead bodies, Such in a way of falling in lava, They will build a stone wall monument in their territory for the soldiers who haven't been brought back. If a soldier's loot hasn’t been picked up in battle and after their equipment has been retrieved it will be handed down to their family’s strongest. If they have no family the country takes it, Recycling for resources or use it to distribute to other people, Making them soldiers, Or keeping it in the army’s inventory for other soldiers to have. If an MVP soldier (Lv.6/Higher) dies with no family they can request to be buried with their equipment, Making it a bigger target for Grave Robbers/ Thieves.

If a necromancer sneaks into the Tomb House, They could raise the dead inside. With only a few amount of time, The stone walls will break leading Skeleton and undead Zombie soldiers to escape and destroy/ infect everything, All under the necromancer's rule. Allowing him to, If successful, Take over the country making it an undead-hell-like kingdom. This will make others rise to the test to try and take back their home, Become hero’s or for money. Other kingdoms will even try to take over land by sending soldiers into the undead territory’s to take it for their country.

~ Monuments
Three types of new monuments will be introduced also further explained.

One, The stone wall for the soldiers whose bodies haven’t been retrieved. To see the names, You can tap the monument, Which will display the soldier's names in a drop-down menu, When it was built, The age, and who built it. This costs the lowest amount of material to make. (100 stone).

Two, For where the battle was fought. When both opposing country’s make peace they will build a monument where a big to massive battle was fought displaying all the soldier's names. Kinda like the (Marine Corps War Memorial Statue). Though it will take 300 stones to make. To see the names you can tap the Memorial, Which will display its auto-generated name that can be renamed. Along with the list of soldiers who participated which can be sorted by side, When it was built, The age, Which side emerged victoriously, and who built it.

Three, An MVP monument for the soldier that contributed the most during the fight. It will be built in that soldier's hometown, Though it will take 200 stones to build. You can tap the statue for more information about it. It’ll show you the soldier's name in a drop-down menu and when it was built, The age, and who built it.

Allowing people to dig them up or necromancers reviving them. If a necromancer revives them in an ancient town then they will form a new country, From the old ruins of the battlefield and town. Variant skeletons-
When spawning skeletons in, You’ll have a random chance of spawning in a captain skeleton kinda like “sea of thieves” which will spawn with better or rare equipment. Killing it will get more XP (15 or 20 XP). These skeletons will provide a better fighting chance for their army when in battle. There could be more variants such as a boss skeleton, Which spawns with really good loot along with high HP and damage. The boss will be a problem for the opposing force due to its stats alone. To make it a little more fun, When close to death the boss will call in multiple skeleton soldiers for help, making them “Jump” whoever is close to killing the boss.

Small notes:
-All skeletons will be under its rule.
-To whoever kills it, Will be granted 100 XP along with a Hero trait due to how hard it’ll take for someone alone to kill it.

Archers seem to have way too much of an advantage over normal melee infantry in my opinion so two suggestions to balance then out would be to either cute their damage by 50% compared to melee weapons or have a limit to how many arrows an archers can carry around. Arrows will be held in quivers which would have different levels representing the total amount if arrows they can hold. Once an archer runs out of their arrows they will attack using a secondary weapon such as a sword, axe, or spear.

Since we have Mages, i would like a Magic Oriented Race. They also have a Mana Meter just like Health or Hunger for others. When their Magic Meter is at 0, they had 1/5 the Health, 1/5 the Strength, and Extremely Weak, while when their Mana is full at 500 or more, they are 4 times as strong. Their Mana is 100 normally. This Magic Race can only regenerate health by gathering a certain somewhat common blue flower, then turning it into “Enchanted Water” which will then be turned into a Food in the Kingdom. This Race uses Mana pretty much all the time. The Civilians will use Mana to fly around, shield themself from critters (which will cost a lot of mana), and building houses thay can hold 100, although that costs 450 Mana. The Military and King will use it to shield themselves from enemies, use powerful attacks like staffs and huge explosions (that won’t destroy the ground, but will kill creatures and destroy buildings), and using spells on their enemy that will reduce their attack, defense, or speed temporarily.

Holy Fountain

More chaos should happen when a lot of people die at the same time. For example:
If I were to use a bomb on a city they would first go through panic. They basically run around randomly not knowing what to do. Some would even go into madness and start randomly hitting people. This could also cause the kingdom to become less stable. People may try to overthrow the kingdom or migrate to new ones. Eventually the kingdom would get back under control after a few years. This can really apply to any disaster. If you use the death coin or if a plague starts. Also migrating would be great. People could go on long adventures to get to a better kingdom if they get unsatisfied with where they're at.

Allow Explosive Warfare-
This will be a new world law that could be turned off and on, Allowing countries to use bombs. However only when they have enough material. Also, it would be pretty hard for them to craft these explosives. For example, Grenades would cost between 10 to 30 steel. They would use these things similar to how bandits use their TNT.
Now to distribute and make it more interesting, Only Kings get to decide where to drop all bombs. On the other hand, A prince and lv.10 soldiers only get access to dropping Nukes and below explosives. Flag carriers Lv.8 and above can drop napalms to bombs while flag Carries Lv.5 and above could drop Bombs. They could use these things in a way of when a country is being taken over by a very close neighboring kingdom, If enough material and demanded by the king, Kill both kingdoms by dropping a bomb on the middle of the border. If being invaded by a distant kingdom and reverting to the last resort could drop a bomb on their enemy’s country.
Another way is if being advanced on, A flag carrier can strategically or randomly drop a Bomb/ Napalm on heavy incoming enemy forces. For Mines and TNT's, All soldiers could strategically plant these explosives in a way to prepare and dwindle enemy advancement, Even for boats too. Below is an ideal material chart on what they would require to make these explosives.

“Warmonger” my suggestion is to make diplomatic stats that is called “Warmonger.” If the one country having a war against more than two countries at once(will only work if they declared on others, not declared “by” other countries), they will have diplomatic stat that is called “Warmonger”. This is a new idea: Spores-Mushroom.

  • Spores will pour out of it.
  • There will be Mini-Spores-Mushrooms next to it, they can also spread spores, but less than Spores-Mushroom.
  • Spore-infected (spore-monsters) will not go to the Spore-Mushroom, but those spore-monsters that are near the Spore-Mushroom will be treated.
  • Civilizations will send their warriors to destroy the Mushroom Spores.
    •After the destruction of the Mushroom Spore, all the Mini-Mushroom Spores will disappear.
    •Some creatures can eat Mini-Spores-Mushroom and get infected with spores, a list of creatures that can eat Mini-Spores-Mushrooms:
    Sheep, rabbit, cow, zombie, bear, cat.
    •All flies near the Spore-Mushroom will receive damage.
    •If you water the territory next to the sporogrib, then with some chance mini-sporogribs can grow.
  • Spores-The fungus will not grow in cold places.
  • Water Mini-Spores-Fungi grow on the water.

Hello, I have been playing since the end of 2019 and I still haven't got enough of this wonderful game!

But I have some suggestions for our dear developers:

  • Add walls around cities
  • Add naval battles to make the game more exciting than ever!
  • An addition that may take time but that I find really interesting would be to be able to play a character of our choice and fight.
  • It would also be fun if some Men / Elves / Orcs / Dwarves could become white mages, necromancers, evil mages, or even demons.
  • Add some kind of parallel dimension like hell.
  • Make sure that the white mages can be part of a village.
  • Adding a 3D view on the map, it might take time for everyone but it would be amazing!
  • Create a building like a bank that will store the resources of the kingdom / village
  • Create a currency for the 4 species so that they can trade.
  • Create merchants who would offer all types of items in exchange for currency.
  • Create counters for merchants.
  • Create merchant or exchange ships.
  • Create pirate ships.
  • Create other upgrades for the warships so that it is upgraded according to the Kingdom's resources, of course the kingdom would lose resources by paying for an upgrade.
  • Add religions.
  • Add religious wars.
  • Add temples.
  • Add cheerful turns
  • Space the different villages of the same kingdom and others, in order to keep a bit of nature on the map.
  • Create trade routes.
  • Add a new map size on PC (because I think that on mobile it would absolutely not be suitable).
  • Put the entire customizable map sizes as 300x300, in order to create even bigger and more impressive worlds.
  • Modify the automatic map generations, it would be easier to generate the maps in several large continents.

this isn't a really serious one but I thought it could help with people making lore for worlds.

The colors of each nation, the emblem of the flags show a religious or same cultural heritage, or political ideologies.

The colors will make alliances, or be of peace for quite a while. Here's an example iv made.
The greens, who have a political ideology of there the best, hate the whites, who's ideology is a religious form of violance and sacrifices. The greens, after a white nation goes to war with one of them, launches a crusade and all the green brotherines go to war with the whites. With very little mercy, only a few survive on the white side. The greens don't take the white lands, only ravage it with pyromaniacs burning everything.

Forceful village expansion, merge two villages together, two kingdoms to make an empire, make two specific villages go to war not declare war on anyone, also maybe villages build walls to prevent invasion
Maybe like a Titan mob, you can have an intelligent one that can build civilisations and a dumb one that just kills (if it isn’t clear I really want to recreate Attack on Titan)
Also technology would be nice, like guns and phones. Maybe you can have Americans, and they spawn with guns and madness

Okay, so hear me out here
What’s one thing this game desperately needs? More plants right? Bamboo seems like a good choice. However bamboo alone, no no no, not enough, we need more. So. PANDAS. but that isn’t quite enough still. Here’s my third proposal. When a panda meets a dragon, they fuse, and he becomes the dragon warrior, Po. (Or maybe Pa to avoid copyright idk). Po will be the god of plot armour, having thousands upon thousands of health, millions upon millions, and his favourite food, noodles obviously. Now here’s where things get crazier. Once po is created, the furious five spawn out of a giant meteor (cool entrance Shifu taught them well) and the six go around fighting any hostile mobs and protecting all four races. You’ve done it. Your land is a peaceful, war-free, prospering environment. You can sleep easy tonight.

This is a pretty broad suggestion and I could go into more detail in possibly another suggestion, but I'm thinking that Worldbox should have dedicated, themed, and larger updates, each improving an aspect of the game, here's some examples:

World of Life Update: More biomes, plants, animals, etc, this update would be all about upgrading the natural world.

Kingdoms and Clashes Update: This would be about upgrading the civilization factor of worldbox, new systems for kingdom management, new warfare mechanics, new buildings, and more.

Monsters and Magic Update: This update would improve the magic system in worldbox, adding enchantments to weapons and armor that make them either more powerful, or weaker, they also could have special effects on the user and enemies. This update would also add more unique monsters and enemies to the game.

Powers of God Update: This update would add more unique powers to the player's arsenal, examples could be radiation, tidal waves, unit possession, etc.

Age of Men: This update would add maybe a couple more races to the game, examples include nords, mermen, goblins, halflings, etc.

I have alot more ideas but these are just some basic ones, I could go into more detail about the features in each update in another suggestion, but idk.

Refugees systems + scouts for early warning against threats. Scouts scan surrounding area for threats, based on enemy count. If they detect something, they warn the village. If a scout is killed, the village gets no warning. Non-combatants faced with a high enough threat (ratio based on defenders to threat), abandon their homes and group up for safety as they flee. They get a temporary trait "Refugee " They are led by the town leader. It would be like an army unit, but instead it runs away from threats. They could roam around or flee to the capital of their nation or the nearest allied settlement. If its the capital that is under attack, then its refugees will simply abandon the city and form a new one. If a group of refugees has their village destroyed, they go form a new one and lose the trait refugee. It would be a world event "A group of refugees have fled the village of Malora!" Refugee groups cannot join another kingdom, unless they are allied with it. Refugees remain in their group until the threat has ended or their village is destroyed. If the threat passes, they return and rebuild. If its destroyed, they form a new village.

New Race: Goblins!

Goblins would be a mischievous, short race of green creatures resembling orcs, with pointy ears and raggedy clothes, and would make small camps and outposts across worlds.

Goblins would be pretty neutral creatures, not getting involved with wars or conflict unless absolutely necessary.

Goblins would lead trade caravans with cows and donkeys carrying wares as well as small wagons, they would stop at towns and sell their items to the residents of the town they stop at, items could include clothing, armor, weapons, or rarer items, such as fire swords or staffs.

Goblins are thieves however, and will occasionally steal from kingdoms, selling their stolen goods to other towns for profit.

Goblins would live in tents similar to orcs and would all spawn with the "Greedy" trait.

New Governing system: the type is chosen randomly

Centralized monarchy: the king will always be the capital's leader, all leaders of all cities live in the capital, loyalty of cities is higher.

Decentralized monarchy: the current system, but the capital will change to the current king's city.

Republic: the leaders are elected by the people amongst the people with highest diplomacy/warfare/stewardship, the leader will move to the capital. The leader of the republic is only here temporarily (5 years for orcs, 10 for humans, 20 for dwarves and 50 for elves) but can be reelected up to 3 times.

Will of the strongest: the leaders of each city can be challenged by their inhabitants, they will fight each other to death, but only one person can challenge the leader at a time,  if the leader dies from it, the opponent is the new leader, if the leader lives, he keeps his role. The leaders can challenge the king in the same way. If the king dies naturally, all leaders will fight each other in the capital and the last survivor becomes the king. (More likely for orcs)

No central government: no king, just leaders.

Anarchy, no leaders, no kings

Misc:

City militia: some of the population will be enrolled in the militia (25% of the population), they are not controlled by the leader and are not part of the army. They stay in the city and will protect the city from invaders, they have weapons and armor but they still farm and craft like the rest of the population.

People's Revolt: different from city revolt, the population attacks the leader and the army of their city, if the people kill the leader, they will begin taking over the city, but the army will also try to take over the city to stop the revolt. When the population takes over, other cities will begin to revolt too, when the capital revolts, the government system will change.

Werewolves: They appear as wolves but occasionally shape-shift to their mortal forms. Their mortals forms can be either orc, human, elves or dwarves. Spawning them is like spawning zombies, it appears in different forms, not just one (sort of works like that). They can blend in by joining a nation and living their normal life there, and have children (if it’s orcs, they go to orc cities to live). If they have children, their trait of being a Werewolf can be passed down (not 100% guarantee of the trait to pass down like any other trait, only a few can get it). They’re not immortal and can die of old age, depending on the race their appear (if humans they about 70 years or so). In their werewolf form, they go and hunt (possibly other mortals for food?).

Vampires: Vampires can appear as either the 4 races (orc, human, dwarf, elves, etc). Fits with the game since Worldbox is sticking with the medieval style (vampires are pretty medieval). They go on and bite others occasionally to spread their vampire genes. The vampire bite works like a zombie plague: it slowly kills the person, and when they die, they’re reborn to their vampire selves. Their skins can appear a lighter complex than their mortal counterpart (ex. Orcs have green skin so a vampire orc can have a lighter green, that way we can see where they rest in). When one becomes a vampire, they’re given 3 new traits: (1) Vampire, (2) Blood Lover, (3) Immortal. Obviously they’re immortal of age, but can only die by a wooden sword/sharp tool (that can be optional - sticking with the typical vampire weakness would make them sort of OP). Their favorite food can be changed to Blood as sort of a joke, but really they do would like blood, they feed more on animal blood than humans (but if there are no animals then they begin to slowly feed on human blood). They can’t have children, they can only join civilizations depending on the race they appear as (humans only to human kingdoms, etc).

New Random Events // Random Disease: New random events such as plagues occasionally appearing. When they appear, the bar that gives the news can give these diseases some names, making each plagues bit unique and adds more interesting histories to our worlds, and can even be stated where they came from and a short explaining of how they came to be (ex. “The [Name of the Plague] Disease has appeared from the Village of [Named City], wonder who got it first?!”].

New Random Event // Zombie Apocalypse: Another could be the zombie plague spreading, that way we can have a more fun zombie apocalypse probability happening in our worlds, a text can appear for that too like: [ex. “Woah! A weird disease has come from [Name of Village]. Nothing huge, it’s not like the dead is gonna come back, right?” - sort of a joke thing to do to get a small laugh going].

Make a way to have kingdoms start war with specific countries, so if there are 2 kingdoms on an island, you could make them specifically fight each other, and not have them be at war with every kingdom for a bit until you can use the peace thing on that kingdom. Better yet, make a way to have kingdoms be at peace with other countries. That could be pretty useful in worlds that last for 100's of years with 10 - 15 different kingdoms

this may sound stupid, but i would like to have a sort of ratio or percentage, or at least something to be able to control the amount of mountains in my worlds. they can be quite annoying, and I'm not good at making worlds so I occasionally over-remove mountains and weird terrain. This probably isnt a big problem but I would like it if it was changed.
