Sand Spider needs to either be removed or completely revamped. It walks in a straight line and dies less than 10 seconds later with only a not-so-appealing trail of sand behind it. It has to be the most useless creature in the entire game.

I do have an improvement idea for it though. How about we have Sand Spiders as an actual creature that lives in the desert? Instead of creating an ugly line of sand and dying, they hide in the sand and wait for unsuspecting prey similar to a trapdoor spider or an ant lion. We could even have them naturally spawn in deserts, making them the first creature that actually lives in the desert (since let's face it, nobody likes generating a world only for 50% of the continents to be deserts that have no discernible use)

I would also like to see the different races utilizing the cattle and sheep I spawn for them a fence them in or slaughter them for food. Finally, I think that the npcs should build more on their own. Say if two settlements have been trading frequently and they form an alliance they build a bridge connecting eachother and aid eachother in battle. I have plenty of ideas I would love to see in this game. Thank you all!

Possible Farming and Military Update Ideas
Farming: Maybe more types of crops? Like potatoes, lettuce, corn, and tree fruits like apples, bananas, cocoa beans, and oranges. The temperature would also affect what crops grow where, like bananas could grow on hot beaches and berries grow better on colder areas. There could also be animal farming instead of just hunting where people domesticate sheep, cows, and chickens for meat, eggs, milk, and wool.
Military: During an enemy invasion, if there isn't enough military, people could quickly train and become a local militia. They would have a more ragged style clothing than soldiers and only stick around for as long as their town is under attack or for as long they are at war. There could also be generals who lead army charges and tell them how to make different formations, only for real soldiers though. There would also be a flag bearer who follows generals and is just there to look nice, and they can attack with the flag. Then there would be elite soldiers, who have better gear than normal soldiers and are stronger, led by an elite general who is just the elite version of a general. There would then be leader and kings guards, who have one job: to protect the king or leader to the death. They get some of the best gear, following the King and Leader. They would be made up of some of the best elite units and led by a Guard Commander, again like the elite general but stronger and with better gear and benefits

Wizard Update:

Wizard: all races can have people become wizards, these wizards either stay in that town and defend, or they leave the village and start another town, they usually start them near mountains, these wizard villages have buffed building, buffed people and buffed etc, but don’t worry because they aren’t just stronger towns, some building will be wizard towers, they will also be the introduction of potions, they will have brewery buildings, any wizards that stay in their home town will have a smaller chance of building a brewery building and wizard tower. Wizard towns will just have a higher Chance of them building these.

Swamps: This will have new tiles including Swamp grass and Swamp water, also new trees.

Witch: These witches always leave their town, they head towards swamps if they are on the map, they will start settlements, in these settlements there will different covens, if anything steps within a radius of the town it will be attacked with magic and potions, forgot to include this but there will always be a library in a wizard or witch settlement, at random times some witches and wizards will enter this library after exiting they willed get a random stat of theirs buffed, witches are the evil ones who will attack anything, and wizards will help anyone.

How to get there: In the menu there will be a cave icon, click on it and it will take you to the cave system.

What’s in the cave update: New ores for miners to find, often goblins can be found in these caves hoarding gold, and you will have new tiles to use in these caves. Of course though, these caves connect to different places, for example one army could enter a cave and exit on the other side of the island, which is where a town is, that is what would be really useful for the races.

Tavern: This is where the warriors go to lay off and have a fun night, once they are out of the tavern, they will have the effect: Drunk, this effect causes them to miss hits, and randomly sleep.

A problem I often run into in the game is that, once a civilization becomes so powerful in the early game, it dogs on all the rest of the countries. My solution? There has to be morals, Civilizations will judge each other based on how many wars one has gone into, and the people will judge their leader based on how many they start too.
Here's how it works for 3 of the factions.
Humans, Dwarves, and Elf's:
The more wars they wage, the more likely the other countries are to declare war on them, and more likely for revolution in cities. This affect is only applied to whoever initiated the war (the side who was attacked first will not have this effect applied).
Orcs:
Why are orcs special you might say? Well, they LIKE war. They respect it. The more a country wars with another nation, the more the orcs will like to ally with them. This effect, will only apply to those who initiate the war, unlike the other 3 factions. (This small detail adds more depth to the game, makes you appreciate it more, like how animals don't attack elves.)

Neither of these are very reasonable to add, and just involves some math in the code. Make sure to check out my other recommendations if you like this one.

Make multiplayer. In multiplayer you join a giant world with x amount of other people. You don’t get to edit the terrain or place mobs. All the settings such as peaceful monsters and diplomacy will be active. You then pick a starting spot for your kingdom. Once your kingdom is placed you can name it. Then all editing will be turned off and you can only watch the chaos unfold as the dozens of kingdoms attack each other. Kingdoms cannot rebel. Truly a last man standing scenario. If you win you get a point. The person with the most points at the end of the month gets a rank on the server saying “Champion” If the game goes for more than an hour, the remaining players can split the win and get a half a point each. Majority rules in this situation. If a player disconnects, that’s fine. After the hour they will vote for the game to end. Kingdoms will be extra hostile towards each other. (I know this is never going to happen please don’t bash me for this)

War ships can only carry around 20 people.

I, personally play on giant worlds with a few large islands, to keep ships necessary. It just hurts me to see a single ship carrying 200 people to an island to attack. Can you imagine being a small, poor, starving nation, looking out on the horizon and seeing 10 large war ships headed directly towards you? You would feel fifty shades of fricked. Now imagine seeing a single ship “No big deal” you think. The ship lands and you prepare your stone battle axe with 6 or so people at your side. “I will fight for our small island” you think. 217 people POUR out of the ship. “That doesn’t even make sense” are your last words as you are swept under by the stupid amount of people. And your right. It makes no sense. It needs fixing. Also from the birds eye view you can tell that your going to want to follow that fleet. One ship goes unnoticed, but 10 is sure to catch your eye. It also makes it so that the larger nations become more powerful because they can afford more ships, and therefore ship more people out. (TLDR, make ships only able to carry 20 people and 5 crew)

War update

War needs fixing. Right now it just looks like a jumble of random pixels. Here are a few suggestions to fix this

  1. Warriors from nations wear the same colored armor as their home countries so you can tell them apart.
  2. Warriors bring banners with their colors and flags into battle.
  3. I already said this but ships can only carry a limited amount of people.
  4. If a nation goes to war, it’s allies can fight alongside it
  5. Tridents. Because why not
  6. There is a general among the warriors. If they are killed, a statue is erected of them back at their homeland.
  7. Nations try to take out the kings, and the kings can be evacuated to another allied province.
  8. Ships have cannons and fire at opposing warriors and ships
  9. If you click on a nation you can see where all the citizens are.
  10. The more a nation goes to war, the less likely it is to have allies.

It would be nice to have 4 types of revolution:

1: independence war - a couple of cities start a defensive war against the kingdom. They only defend their land and don't capture anything. If kingdom can't suppress the riots in, let's say, 5 years, they declare peace.

2: Military coup: the most well-armed people in the capital kill the king and get the power. Capital instantly joins rebels and all cities with negative opinions on the kingdom join them too. A 50/50 civil war.

3: Revolution: There is a thing called "Free spirit" that is like virus, but it doesn't kill and spreads a little slower. Is visually indicated by red bubbles. If over 50% of the village get the free spirit, it rebels. If capital rebels, the revolution is instantly finished. Kings and village leaders can't get the free spirit. Can only be activated by player.

4: riots may be caused by hunger, too much deaths or a plague. Cities won't rebel, but about of 20% of people in the rioting cities will become bandits and pyromaniacs, except their bombs won't change the terrain.

Dryads / Nature Spirits

Appearance:
Dryads or nature spirits are small creatures about the size of fairies.
They have no real body, but look more like small green orbs flying over the ground.

Features:
The nature spirits cause all kinds of plants like trees or grasses to get a growth boost. This boost is only in a small radius around the nature spirit. They can also individually fertilize a tile from a field, but this ability is only a secondary function and has a high cooldown because of it.

||(Could work and could be cool, but am very unsure myself: if these peaceful and actually also immortal beings should die nature will be wiped out in a 3x3 radius, so trees die and grass disappears).||

Behavior:
Nature spirits like to stay in forests. They also like elves, because elves are closely connected to nature. If you spawn nature spirits outside of forests, such as deserts or mountains, they will try to get into a forest. If they take damage, they will try to flee, but will not harm the enemy.

Formations -
It would be better to see them adapt formations for defence or offence, like arrow formation to penetrate the defences, phalanx and multiple lines to defend.
Actual tactics -
Attackers would look for weak points and encircle defences, while defenders would also try to reinforce under defended points, or points the attacker is heavily pushing.
Artillery - Pretty self explanatory, cannons and stuff. Blow enemy up, good for killing lots from a distance.
Siege towers and battering rams -
If towns would construct walls around it, or castles would be built, troops could use battering rams to break the gates and siege towers to climb the walls. Also ladders.

By possessing a Beehive, you're able to spam a button which spawns a bee.

By possessing a Fire Tower, you're able to spam a button which spawns demons and you're able to tap somewhere in range to cast a fireball at it.
By possessing a Tumor, you're able to select a point to spread a tendril to, and if they eventually get added, you're also able to spawn tumor beasts.
By possessing a Geyser, Acid Pit, or Volcano, you're able to turn yourself on or off at a whim, and if you're volcano you're also able to blow up as if you just struck lightning on the Volcano.
By possessing a Bowling Ball, you're able to either sit and contemplate your decision or you can bounce around wreaking havoc as though you were a giant slime spamming the jump button.
Anything you think would work with this new power, WILL work with this power.

Weapons/armor that are created never disappear unless they are lost in combat due to death, being broken, or being too weak. (They can be repaired depending on village supplies before they are destroyed). Weapons/armor will be stored away and given to the next generation or new units to utilize. This creates a buildup of more and more powerful tools to be used in a village for units over time. Rather than every generation refreshing what tools exist or swapping a tool out for another and deleting the previous tool that was used. Even if it was better. A village with very good supplies could have lots of units with full adamantinw weapons/armor. Another village could end up the same and having huge long wars with tons of action with the other.

-Detonator, not a bomb but instead blows up every tile bomb on the map at once

Religion

After reading several game-suggestions about religion, I thought I'd create a little mechanism for it.

Features:
First of all I would make it so that you can set for each kingdom if this kingdom believes in a god or not.
So you could do more worldbuilding and it would be one less reason not to include the feature.
If you turn off the feature, the kingdoms stay as they are now.
However, if you enable religion for an empire, one house of worship will be built per city.
Houses of prayer have 3 levels. They start at level 1 and can then be upgraded 2 times.

If you have a prayer house in the city, the city gets a certain number of priests depending on the level of the prayer house and the number of inhabitants.
I am not sure yet how exactly the number of priests should be set, but this is my idea:

Priests depending on the level of the house of prayer:
Level 1: one priest
Level 2: two priests
Level 3: three priests

Per 30 inhabitants one priest more per city.
Example:

City with 25 inhabitants, but level 2 prayer house: two priests
City with 90 inhabitants, but level 1 prayer house: four priests
Level with 60 inhabitants, but level 3 house of prayer: five priests.

Priests have similar powers to fairies and can heal people, but only individually and in a weakened version.

**Appearance: **

Houses of prayer look different per race. For humans, I could imagine a church, like in normal life. For elves, a nature-based shrine, and for orcs, an open hall inspired by shamans. With dwarves I can not yet imagine so much :/

speaking of governments and stuff, also add doctrines that makes them stronger in a certain aspect and the doctrine changes for every kingdom dynasty. Here's the list.

  1. Power - a kingdom will be more likely to produce powerful equipment and it's soldiers have slightly buffed hitpoints but has decreased soldier recruitment.

  2. Quantity - a kindom can recruit a lot of soldiers and form bigger armies but they deal less damage.

  3. Optimization - The kingdom has better defenses and soldiers, they can produce powerful soldiers but they are slower moving and takes more time to mobilize.

  4. Surprise - the kingdom has faster moving soldiers and they produce more archers that have longer range. Downside is that they have reduced hitpoints.

once we are able to give creatures items and change stats, there should be a new gear level(I’m gonna call it ethereal). Ethereal items should be above adamantine tier of gear. Ethereal items are unobtainable to creatures on there own instead these item will only be able to be obtained by the player providing them or if a creature wielding it it is slain and it is taken. Besides just being stronger armor they should also give some unique benefits not in the game. An example of something unique would be resistance to ranged attacks or extra damage against evil creatures. I also believe that along with a op set of armor weapons like Zeus thunder bolt which would be basically a bow(different sprite) that when the arrow lands lighting would be strike. I think these items could be fun to give certain creatures and see where they end up or if you want to help a certain nation.

Add a new kind of tumor. It spreads like normal but when a creature stands on its tendrils it doesn’t take damage. Instead when a creature stands on it for long enough it gets corrupted. It serves to protect the tumor host by hitting other creatures into the tumor’s grasps. The corruption can be cured with divine light and the tendrils shrivel and die when the tumor is destroyed.

Add bannermen which would work similar to the transport ships. They would wait near the border of a village and wait for troops to rally to there banner which displays the kingdoms flag and such. One handed and two handed weapons along with shields .One handed weapons will do less damage compared to two handed but the can be also equip a shield or another weapon. In the case of duel weapons they should do a bit less than a one handed but be faster in attacks. World History Additions

1) I'm not sure if there is a performance reason for why this isn't already the case, but if this is possible make it so that there is no limit on the world history tab. So, if you wanted to go back and view things that happened a very long time ago, you would be able to do so.

2) Significant events should be documented in the world history tab. Here's a few examples I was able to come up with.

A meteor fell from the sky and killed (X) amount of people.

The plague responsible for (X) amount of deaths has finally ended.

The dragon responsible for (X) amount of deaths has finally been defeated by (Y).

Crabzilla attacked and killed (X) amount of people before being stopped).

3) Monuments. This isn't really an addition to the world history, but I think this would be kind of cool. If something very significant happens (i.e crabzilla attack, dragon being defeated etc.), the race affected by it will build some kind of monument or statue related to that event in remembrance.

-bandits now loot villages. an example is that a bandit will enter a village, attack and destroy it, and steal all of the recourses. (when bandit camps are added.)
-another suggestion are spies. these people are sent from a rival kingdom to try and kill the king. these people are not detected until they will attack either a person or a king. in this case, the defenders that are closest try and kill the spy. spies do not have armor, and are only equipped with a sword. the method that they will get there is by boat. those white boats now have another purpose, and will drop them whenever they come in contact with the kingdoms land. they can also come by running into the kingdom if the rival kingdom is right next to them.
-criminals. any people now have a chance to become a criminal. this is a trait. they will sometimes burn down houses kill people. this is a rare trait and will be calculated by the level of loyalty to their kingdom. for example, if the loyalty level is low on one village, that village will have more criminals. if it is high, then it will have almost none. (any villages that have 100 will have no criminals.) if anyone witnesses these criminals in the act, the nearest defenders will rush over and kill them.
-dungeons. i have seen a person suggest this and i really liked it. this will allow the village to get armor and weapons. these are most common in hills and mountains. there will be a job called dungeon explorer, and depending on the level that it is, (1-100, and it goes up each time people raid it.) will allow the village to get better loot and armor. for example, a level 1 dungeon will have a %70 percent chance for bad wooden weapons and armor, 20% for stone, and 10 percent for nothing. a level 100 dungeon will have a 95% highest rarity weapons and armor(lol forgot how to spell them), and a 5% chance to get nothing. based on level, the chance of dying will also be dependant on the levels. only people who have good stats and armor can go.

I have said something similar to this before but I had a different idea. In more advanced civilizations there is a class structure where people are given a different class depending on what class their parents are and what profession they are. Depending on this they would get better or worse equipment, more or less likely to be fed, and maybe even people very high up in the class structure like nobles or royalty get guards with them who don’t go to war but just defend against anyone attacking the person they are protecting. Also if a doctor profession is ever added the people with a higher class would get medical treatment more while people in the lowest classes might never get treatment.

Another thing to go along with this would be an update to revolutions. In villages with low loyalty people would randomly get a trait called rebellious and this could also spread from person to person within the village. If a third of the people in the village have this trait the city will rebel and create a new kingdom. Anyone else within the kingdom in a city that hasn’t revealed yet will join that kingdom. Sometimes people with rebellious will also try to kill nobles, city leaders, and royalty when their own city hasn’t rebelled yet.

Fantasy Update
(I haven’t made a suggestion in a while so bare with me 😅)
Since Worldbox’s theme is mostly filled with medieval/fantasy I feel like the fantasy part needs to be improved

Roles/Jobs- I feel like people in their kingdoms should have their very own dedicated roles/jobs. You will be able to know by tapping on a villager or by looking at the clothes they wear. Some examples of the roles villagers can have are, blacksmith, farmer, king, knight, adventures, warrior, squire, animal tamers, peasant, merchant, wizard and etc. These roles can determine what a villager does, how much money a villager earns, what they wear, and what their living situation is. This can dramatically affect relationships between the kingdom and the king . This can also dramatically affect how people can interact with each other and their everyday life.

Fantasy Like Villagers/Units- I wish there were more creatures and villagers in worldbox that deal with fantasy like things like minotaurs, goblins, Pegasus, centaurs, cyclops, chimeras, and more. This is honestly self explanatory because this would bring more new features to the game like traits, houses, and attacks.
( I feel like this would drastically affect the game and bring much more to Worldbox as a whole : D)

I feel like after seeing the small and giant trait being put in the game there should be more things that should be more visual traits. For example if people have the strong trait they have more pixels on their arms while someone with the weak trait has thin pixel arms. Another example is if someone has the fat trait they appear more wide then other villagers. Also I wish I could see villager carry and gather stuff visually as well like wood, bread, wheat, iron, and gold while contributing to the kingdom. I think these small details would be great to see.

Add Adaptation and Temporary Traits
-How this would work is that when in a certain environment most animals learn how to adapt overtime and soon change a color in fur or skin, for example when a bear lives in a ice biome for too long they are now a polar bear, or when a bunny is in the desert for too long they are now a desert bunny. This could possibly change the stats and traits. This goes for villagers too because, when in a environment too long they have a change in clothing, skin color and maybe even houses and weapons! This would bring way more VARIETY between villagers. And would heavily affect this game.

Lastly I want to talk about temporary traits, I wish there were traits like blood loss, frost bite, heat exhaustion, and other things from the environment and battles that could affect villagers and their stats, all of these traits have the ability to get removed, for example if your villager is crippled or has blood loss the. Add a hospital to help fix them, hospital can have the ability to even cure disease. Another example is frostbite and heat exhaustion, all the villager has to do is to adapt to their environment or they could leave that land and go to a new one suitable for them. With both of these things I think it could majorly affect this game as a whole!

-Mesas, formed in world generation by having a mountain on top of a desert. They're as tall as mountains, but only deal damage during the transition between Mesas and another tile, in contrast with Mountain's DPS. You're able to grow Cacti there.

Make it so rebellions don't happen as easily. It would be better if loyalty wasn't so dependent on the number of cities in a kingdom, because then it's impossible for big kingdoms to exist with rebellions turned on. Instead it should be like 1 less loyalty point per 10 or 15 cities in a kingdom instead of 1 for 1, so then rebellions would be more based on distance, leader, traits etc.

How this is works is the cultures will be based on their flag color and symbol for example let’s say a kingdom has a red flag with a book as their symbol.

Flag Colors-All of the villagers in that kingdom will wear red clothing because the king chose their flag colors as red.

Clothing- Villagers will be able to dye and make different clothing by shearing sheep and dye the colors. There can also be different types of clothing for example, wool, fur, leather, linen, cotton, and etc.
This will help differentiate different color and types of clothing between kingdoms.

Flag Symbol- the flag symbol can be one of the most important parts to a kingdom culture. This can affect how people will act, their traits, and interactions with other kingdoms and each other. Let’s say a village has a book as their symbol. This village will base their kingdom of knowledge. These people love to learn on a daily basis and create new things as life continues. People in battle can possibly learn different strategies during battle. (This is only an example).Most of these villagers may also inherit the genius trait, strong minded, or even NEW traits that some kingdoms may not have like quick learner.(this is only an example of a new trait).

Traditions- I’m going to keep this short since this is kind of self explanatory, most kingdoms can go near a campfire, or statue to celebrate or sacrifice each other. People can also celebrate if they won a war against an enemy or if they made a peace treaty

Changes-Throughout the years kingdoms cultures may begin to change for many reasons, it can be cause of adaption, their king, new territory and etc. If there is a new king that tries to change the culture of the people many of the people may revolt and protest within the village against the king which will cause rebellion in the kingdom.

I believe cultures in the game would bring more in depth views of the villagers and many new things to Worldbox.

When looking into Worldbox, I discovered that warriors would all congregate up and attack the hostile entity. Developers should make it so that entities have their own one pixel space that can't be walked through. Additionally, when attacking a hostile unit, the warriors could possibly surround the hostile and kill it that way.

I also think that the fire swords demons have should be animated.

In my opinion, I also found the way of any creature attacking another to be weird. Instead of just having them slap them or something, actually give them animations, and this should also account for the other things that they could do as a job.

For example if the starting temperature had full of snow and cold then it would be able to experience fall and spring as well EXCEPT for summer since it’s starting temperature at the time was very cold. This can lead to new and mixed biomes, different animals, and villager would have to be able to adapt to their new environment and have different types of clothing to protect from the harsh weather.

Nations and cities have different traits which affect how the interact with a world and other countries. These would be influenced by the rulers trait. Some would also change the traits and stats of the people from the nation.
(All names are can be changed, they are not set)
Some Examples for Nations:
Expansionist: Focuses on trying to create more cities in unclaimed land.
Warlike: Constantly wants to be at war so if it isn’t it will declare war on someone. Will also focus on creating powerful weapons and gear.
Peaceful: Won’t try to create war and tries to have positive relations with other nations.
Isolationist: Tries not to have any relations with other countries and doesn’t try to expand.
Some Examples for Cities:
Independent: Likes to be its own nation with by no other cities.
Rebellious: Will often go against the nation ruling it. Trait is created when a city becomes large or dislikes the ruler of the nation.
Loyal: Won’t betray the nation it is apart of unless the capital is destroyed.
Militant: Many people who live in a city with this trait become warriors. May have special buildings which allow warriors to train in increasing their strength, speed, and accuracy.
Educated: People who live here often have professions which require skill like making things. They also have special buildings(libraries) which people visit frequently and it increases their intelligence and diplomacy.

-When you create an empire, they have bad technology and instead start off as a Tribe.
-These tribes have a hard limit to stone tools, no armor, and can't gather ores. They have a limit to a population of about 20 (But adult newcomers are refused at a population of 6), and use food instead of gold as currency.
-Tribes and Empires have -30 reputation because of a "Tech Gap"
-Tribes, when inspected, have no background to their banner.
-Instead of a king, tribes have a chieftain which is represented by a decorated mask instead of a crown.
-Tribes can't create colonies, but can instead give up their current territory and move it elsewhere.
-Tribes become Empires after being alive for 40 years, having a chieftain with the "Genius" trait and being alive for 10 years, or by a new power called "Breakthrough!". Breakthrough is the only of those methods which have a 100% chance to spawn an empire, the others have low chances but grow over time.

NEW SYSTEMS
-Integration - When two towns from the same empire share more than 4 "Chunk Borders", the town with less territory is absorbed into the town with more territory. A capital always absorbs the other town, regardless of territory.
-Truces - When an empire has lost 50% of either its population or its territory during a war, it has a chance to ask for peace. The empire which is winning that feud, if presented with the option for peace, will have another chance to accept this peace. The chance for peace goes up or down depending on the leader's traits. Tribes are also able to do this, but the chance of either is seriously lower than empires' chances.
-Alliances - Alliances, where if an empire goes to war with an empire which has an alliance, all empires in that alliance go to war with the empire the alliance is challenged by. Alliances have a much higher chance of forming when one is fighting a war.

There will be 4 players, each can create their own island and choose one of four races.
After everyone has confirmed they have made their islands they will choose their races and it will begin. In about 100 years the wars will be enabled. With every war you win/every town you destroy you unlock more and more powers. The winner will get a win wich you could check in leaderboards/profiles. Maybe even skins for every win so you could change the colors of ur race. But i think the skin idea is pretty stupid.

Each race should have a progression path for becoming more powerful. Humans Could be more technologically inclined then the other races with more advanced weaponry. if Tnt was invented in the 19th century I don't see how Greek fire flamethrowers, renaissance Ancient Muslim Torpedoes, or even cannons in all honesty are to advanced. Elves could be better at magic and may even have a race specific magic type a Druid. Elves would advance there magic creating powerful spells or just amplify the power of the existing spell casters. Dwarves would focus on Individual Weapon and Armor crafting. Could learn to work strong materials that the other races could not. also A increased chance for better weapons and armor. The orcs lastly Go down the path of individual advancement and rapid population growth. Orcs can get traits that increase certain aspects of them that the other races cant get. Orcs can learn to imbue traits into there warriors buffing them with many traits. I know its a lot It would be cool For a very long term advancement system for the races.

Infected Tumors

This is an idea I picked up from the trello, and I figured I would expand upon it. Tumors can be infected by the zombie virus (this can happen either by being attacked by a zombified creature, or being infected manually by the player). When this happens, the tumor and all it's tiles will turn green. Any wandering creatures that happen to step on infected tumor tiles will immediately be infected by the zombie virus. If infected tumor tiles touch tiles from another tumor, it will spread across uninfected tumor tiles until it reaches the tumor and infects it.

Bandit Improvements (Bandit Camps)

Disclaimer: Before you immediately downvote, I'm entirely aware that bandit camps are abandoned by Maxim currently. This is likely due to the fact that bandits are destructive and overpowered, which means the camps and/or bandits need to be balanced before they are added. That's exactly what I'm going for here.

Bandit Camps

They will function similar to Flame Towers and Ice Towers, however there can only be 5 bandits spawned from a single camp at any given time. If any bandits die, the camp will refill over time, as long as there is at least 1 bandit currently alive. If all bandits are dead, the camp will become a ruin and will no longer spawn bandits.

Bandit Changes/Balances

-Bandits now have to eat in order to stay alive, but they can't hunt or farm. Instead, they have to steal from village farms (This won't happen if the hunger world law is turned off).

-Bandits will only blow up structures (houses, statues, etc). They will attack enemies with their weapons.

-Bandits spawned from camps will stay near their camp unless defending themselves or raiding a village. Lone bandits (normal bandits spawned by the player) will wander the map normally and will remain mostly unchanged.

-Bandits will steal armor and weapons from enemies they kill, as long as it is stronger than what they already have.

so i have been testing a bit with animals and i have realized that predators will erradicate preys after a while, even if there are more preys than predators the preys will eventually disappear, which results in predators disappearing after this as they don't have a food source.
i thought of some ways to solve this:

a) add a reproduction speed. this affects the rate at which creatures breed. the name is very clear. herbivores should have a higher one to be able to survive the carnivores. this would also change things, for example orcs could have a higher one than other races so their cities can have more population, and elves should have a lower one to compensate for their long age

b) now creatures can't breed if their food bar is below some percentage (40-60%, maybe). for example, if there are not enough sheep to feed bears, then bears wouldn't breed allowing sheep population to stabilize

c) both of them. i think this one is the best as the b) without a reproduction speed wouldn't work very well by itself, as predators may hunt the preys to be able to fill their food bar and then they would breed, which would mean more carnivores and less herbivores

tiles should have a heat level. if it is 0, the tile is frozen. if it is 1, the tile is in its normal state but it will eventually return to the frozen state (0) after a while. if it is 2, the tile will lose its grass if it had and won't grow it back (this one would also help a lot with map making). if it is 3, the tile is in its normal state. if it is 4, the tile is on fire. if it's 5, the tile becomes sand if it isn't hills, mountain or an ocean. if it is 6, the tile becomes lava if it is a sand, hills or mountains tile.

there are some ways to change a tile's heat level: snow clouds, cold ones, ice towers and snowmen set it to 0. creatures without the weightless trait walking on ice set it to 1. acid killing a tile's grass set it to 2. shovels set it to 3. demons, fire, lightning, proximity to lava, meteorites and explosives set it to 4.

What if they were to add a simple system of evolution?

For example, you can spawn in a cell, over time, (about 5 minutes irl on 5x speed) it would evolve from a cell, to a fish, to a lizard, to a monkey, to humans, and then civilisation would start, of course you can spawn in humans on their own still and all of the species inbetween the cell and the human.

I know this is not how evolution works but it's a fun simplified version of it that i think would fit well into the game

Religions
How They Would Work: Each religion works similar to a kingdom and are first created by a person that lives in an technologically advanced city, is blessed, or is immortal and over 200 years old. The person who first creates the religion becomes the prophet of the religion and spreads the religion to others. From there they would spread from person to person and make them part of that religion. Each person has a faith stat which at 100 people have complete faith at at 0, none. If the faith stat is below 20 the person has a chance of leaving the religion each year. With the people in them they would create a territory similar to a nations territory and people born here will automatically believe in the religion with a starting faith of 50-75. Faith decreases over time. Religions are not restricted by country borders or race and there can be multiple within a country. Countries would be able to have a national religion if a religion covers most of their country. Each religion has its own relationships with other religions depending on their shared traits among other things. Religions can also have schisms caused by someone with low faith. A religion created by a schism shares the same prophet and shares some similar beliefs(traits for people).
What They Do/Affect: Religions have a randomized set of personality traits which believers are likely to get or are born with if within the territory of the religion. Countries with a national religion will have better relations with other countries sharing the religion and worse with countries with an opposing religion. Religions can also cause rebellions if a city mainly has a religion separate to the national religion. Priest is a role and is given to some people who have 80 or more faith. These people spread the religion and increase the faith of people sharing their religion they meet. Custom buildings are also created.

your suggestion Hi guys, at first I would like to apologize for that above because this is my first time using this bot and I am a bit overwhelmed. I would like to present you an idea for an update called by me "horse upgrade". At the beginning, I must warn you that I did NOT invent it myself. It was also refined by my friend Roketfju. In short, he would add horses, stables, riders, scouts and ... cows .
Horses would be passive animals (ie, they wouldn't attack anyone). They would weld normally, but in small amounts. If there was a horse in the village area, two professions could tame it:
-If the farmer did it, the horse would be moved to a stable where it would simply be slaughtered for meat

  • If a warrior tamed him, the horse would also be moved to the stable, but it would be a barrack-type stable where horses would be trained for military horses for riders
    If a farmer had enough horses, he could use them not only for food purposes, but would also double the rate at which humans create a field (so-called horsepower). There would also be a small chance that the farm's first tame horse could be used for this purpose.
    Now let's move on to the subject of the stable. The stables, as mentioned above, would have two versions:
  • A normal stable would be a stable where farmers would turn their horses into meat for themselves and the people.
  • A military stable (barracks) would be a stable where warriors would train ordinary horses for military horses (attack bonus of course)
    The scouts would be mounted soldiers traversing the kingdom's borders in search of the enemy, the scouts could immediately warn the nearest troops of an organized enemy attack.
    The last point is the cows. Cows would be passive animals, able to tame and use for food or training (bulls), would give meat and milk, drinking milk regularly can increase strength and endurance by several points (good for bones and soul). Thanks for your attention and hope the idea is good

follow up to my two ideas about a update to the dragons, maybe have it when a dragon has destroyed a city and taken its land as its home, have it that the neighbouring citys will send their best armed civilians into the citys ruins in hope to try to slay the dragon and retake the land like once every 10 years? And have it that normal civilians dont dare go into the area of where a dragon is, only when the city itself sends in people to slay the dragon.

And maybe also give the person who slayed the dragon a new trait called "dragonslayer" which will give them more diplomacy as they are now seen as a hero for slaying the dragon. And give dragons that the player spawns the "greedy" trait? To give a reason why they go after citys with the most gold.

And when its attacked, it uses its claws to slash at its attacker and set them ablaze. And it can also clap its wings together to send a gust of flame in front of itself towards its attacker and send them flying backwards while also setting them on fire. They are also immortal.
When killed, they turn to ash and there is a ashpile left in its place and the materials from the pile can be gathered by the races, like phoenix dust and a phoenix feather or something like that, and maybe the phoenix feathers could be used as weapon enhancers, like a bow that has phoenix feathers attached to its arrows will set any enemy it hits on fire (if it isnt fire proof).

sea serpent: it can only be spawned in deep oceans and occassinaly peeks its head out of the water to search for boats, they destroy any boats around in the sea they are in and can be fired at by archers from the shore. They spew a poisonous breath which inflicts any who are in its path to have a new trait, "poisoned" which will drain the enemys health fast and can be cured by divine light. They also have a bite attack to attack enemys on land. When in the deep waters, it casts a similar shadow on the ground like a worm does(minus the terrain manipulation). And they are immortal. When killed, the races could harvest some materials from it, like serpent scales, and a poison gland. The poison gland could be used to enhance any weapon with the new poison mechanic, like a sword smeared in the poison of the gland now inflicts poison when attacking enemies. And arrows smeared in the poison now poison any enemies it hits. The sea serpent itself could have around the same hp as a base dragon.
