What about a rebuilding system so when a town is abandoned people could return and reoccupy it
Destroyed towns should have torn banners, maybe low loyalty towns people have a particle affect so like when someone has the plague they have purple effects maybe if someone is upset with the current leadership they have red particle affects like angry villagers
I see a problem in current Kingdoms as it would appear that villages are way to easy to capture by another nation, through testing I've seen that even a tiny village can take over a massive city Because of the killing of a king
@coarse dagger I suggested something similar before about reusing abandoned towns instead of destroying and then rebuilding of that’s what you mean
maybe cities can every now and then after completely conquering another city and destroying it, salt the fields making it inhabitable
@unique moth I was thinking if military are added, in the castle citizens and the king could hide while military fights, if the military are conquered then the castle is attacked
Instead of towns being able to be taken over when they are around 10 people in it, there could be a Surrender system, The town will surrender to the attacking kingdom if there are many attacks in a short period of time, or for another reason.
make the clothes of units match the color of the kingdom border, to aid in telling apart units of the same race when fighting
instead of full clothes they could have just one clothing item, like pants or shirt or a scarf
I think the Surrender System should lie in the Villages King and The Villages Castle, if the king is killed and the castle is taken down then the Village will begin the surrender process where existing Civilians in the defending village retreat to nearby settlements and after they all escape the village is captured
(not everyone will be able to escape as the attackers will maybe kill a few in the retreat
That would make the villages have no people in them though, i suggested it because there are barely any people in towns that got captured

Because it wouldn't make realistic sense if the villagers being captured would accept being part of a new country like that
Fixed clothing for people
For farmers - Long sleeves and pants dependong on their kingdom color
Citizens and officials - Same to farmers but short sleeved, more fixed depending on their kingdom color
housing for the king, would cost a lot of gold, and would be HUGE, like trump towers

I think an easy thing to do is when you zoom out from a map instead of seeing the individual names of villages you see the name of the kingdom and the kingdoms population this would reduce lag and confusion and make the game flow much better

@hard vale I like the idea of ideologies, but I'd rather they be more associated with proper ideologies of the medieval time. Such as the monarchy, (merchant)republic, theocracy(Papal states and it's many orders) and Chiefdom(Nomadic hordes).

I mean it's not like the game's gonna include Fascists or Communists(albeit there is plenty of racial genocide from what I've played so far xD).
I think if Ideology is ever added, besides how a leader is chosen and maybe some fluff, what should really impact how a nation acts is it's ruler and their traits. Such as xenophobes targetting nations of a different race, versus a xenophile who actually welcomes different races into allows different races to integrate into their nation.

I have a idea something like mind control mode where when you tap a creature you can control the creature until it dies.This power includes founding Villages,waging/ending wars,and creating offspring Addition to that if you are a creature that comes in contact with a enemy you will be attacked.Example a human going on a foreign kingdom.I understand of this doesnt get put into the game because this already seems like hell to code.

I came here to say a navy, but this dude beat me to it. I agree with that. The game would be better with boats so they're not swimming. But I think that boats shouldn't be available to villages/empires until their main building/castle reaches a certain level.
Another idea, different empires should trade with each other. And/or within an empire itself. So if one city in an empire has an abundance of wood and another city, let say in a dessert, doesn't have wood to build homes, then the big city can export wood to that city for them to use.
One last idea I had... Bridges. Certain races should have the ability to make bridges over a limited distance (let's say 10 cubes). When I say only certain races I mean like dwarves and humans, the ones who build pathways, because that makes sense that they build pathways that they also build bridges.
Something to tie in with the ship idea, perhaps better ships could be built over time as the city progresses, as well as a docks coming along with it. Docks can be raided to, I think it will be cool so that other kingdoms can stop their enemies from producing ships.

I had one last idea. Pred species (wolf & bear) only eat when they need to and only reproduce when they're fed enough. This way the pred species and prey species can actually live together without the prey getting eaten to extinction because the preds just keep killing them non stop. Create some balance.

What if a kingdom is low on resources
That kingdom will send a 3-5 man squad to go look for those resources
When those men find the resources they need they will report back to the kingdom and the kingdom will expand in that direction
More into this idea of a 3-5 man squad
If a kingdom is at war with another kingdom they will send a5-20 man squad
with the soul purpose of pillaging
They will attempt to burn houses and(if money/the market is added)markets

what if a war comes, military fights and depending on the kings traits they might fight too. For the most part though citizens and the king will hide out in the castle and if the military falls there’s a chance the citizens could give up the king and surrender or all be slaughtered or be killed until they surrender.

@hard vale multiplayer is not planned at all because this is not civilizations 6 and also Nordic people in the snow for humans are planned , @acoustic palm military units like warriors and archers are planned @random valley walls are an abandoned concept for now

make the dwarves more interesting, give them the ability to upgrade faster but only with their capitak and they all or a majority having greedy trait, they also hunt gold and iron and usually ignore wood since they should need stone to make alot of their items.

Suggestions for new civilization powers:
Mass Extinction: Allows you to wipe out entire villages and kingdoms without having to negatively affect the land (village ruins will still remain the same as if it had been killed by another kingdom.)
Ancestors Wrath: Forces two selected kingdoms to go to war with each other.
Divine Intervention: Forces selected land (selected with a brush) and/or villages (separate from land selection and just gives the chosen village) from one selected kingdom to be given to another selected kingdom.
Lands Of Tranquility/Eternal Peace: Makes it so two selected kingdoms will never go to war with each other. (Can be used twice to undo or overridden by Ancestors Wrath power.)
Petty Squabbles: Forces two villages to fight each other (may automatically cause independence for the first selected village if both villages are in the same kingdom.)
Eternal Loyalty: Forces selected villages to always be 100% loyal to their kingdom. (Can be used twice to undo and be overridden by Petty Squabbles power.)

The New Race - Undead
A way to control diplomacy and force Kingdoms to have wars
Amphibious Race - When boats come around, an amphibious race with the design of a salamander/frog would be a really great addition. They'd be the only race which're capable of swimming deep-water and excel in gathering food from fishing. Their main drawbacks are that they're slower on land and rely on water for moving somewhere quickly(and prefer it when travelling)... This makes attacks from creatures like piranha much more common, as they're much more dependant on water. As well, they're unable to farm and depend on either hunting or fishing to feed their populace.
I'm hoping this would result in a race which excels on coasts and islands but are outmatched by the other races farther in-land.

make priorities for kingdoms for example when its starting up if you tap on the town info, there should be a priority button that allows you to focus on things such as housing, walls, farms, churches, community areas. Let’s say that there is no immediate stone resources or ores, if you make mining a priority it will expand their field of search so they can find things. If there’s a lack of housing, all members will focus on housing. If you plan to do a religious crusade type thing working on churches and instilling faith would be important.

It will function like the plague power, but it makes the host want to infect more. It can infect all humanoid races and animals, making them work together to spread the parasite to more creatures.
The infected creatures will gather houses and pile them up to form a sort of mega building where the infected will worship the parasite. At least a third of the infected will continously wonder around the mega building at one time whole the rest search for hosts.
Multiple megabuildings will be made if the number of infected people rises above a certain amount.

Professions and Pay:
The system will work based on 3 kinds of coins
example:
Gold, Silver and Bronze.If a citizen collects 100 bronze coins, 1 silver will be formed automatically, so if he gets 100 silver 1gold will be formed automatically. Once the button to see a citizen's inventory is available, we can see the money they have.
Jobs/professions will pay in different ways based on the experience each citizen gains.
Example:
Blacksmith Lvl 1 14 coins of bronze monthly.

There will be some that forge better equipment and some bad ones.The same will apply with other professions, they are examples. Which means that the citizens themselves will save for better equipment, materials, better house, food ect..

Give us a way to remove a plague without needing to search through the world for all the infected people. Some ways to do that would be:
- Add doctors that can cure it.
- Add a 'Remove Plague' button.

Resource sharing within a kingdom. Like a diffusion, if one village has a lot of stone and the other doesn't the poorer village can send people to get stone

there should be a difference between neutral kingdoms and actual allies. When kingdoms start everyone is of course neutral with eachother later some will declare war on eachother and stuff but kingdoms should also be able to form actual alliences and not just be neutral. The neutral kingdoms will have a yellow colour when using the diplomacy tool. Later when the resource update gets added allied kingdoms will trade more with eachother than with neutral kingdoms.

Most maps in this game have a good amount of water between them and I’ve watched waves of humans swim across for a raid on the orcs only to arrive broken up in little groups which then run off on their own to die instead of staying with the army they left with. Lets give ‘em boats that can transport like 10 people and can ram each-other just like biremes and galleys for some naval battles! It could lead to pirates or Vikings sailing around and raiding before going back to their city 🤗
They’ll probably need a dock structure too, and I’d assume the boats will be made out of wood. I guess you could set up a logging camp that would function like the mines churning out wood after the raw resources are gone that’d mostly be used for boats.

Lvl 12 Max:
Damage will be divided into 2 Stats:
- Strength: Which is the strength of an unarmed citizen.
- Weapon Damage: That would be the weapon in question.
The Armor will equally be divided into 2 Stats: - Resistance: That it was based on a Citizen's physical stamina.
- Armor: which is based on the defense that provides an armor to a citizen.
Every 3 Lvls a citizen reaches from level 1, the citizen get 1 Strength point, a Strength point, multiply the damage a weapon possesses.
Example: Strength: 2 - Weapon Dmg: 4 - Result: 8 Dmg Total.
- Each level will grant bonuses to all Stats, the higher the level, the betters bonuses of stats.
- Each level will have a much higher Exp requirement, example: Lvl 2 requires 1.5K, Lvl 3 requires 8k.
- The same with resistance, the higher RES a citizen gets, the greater its regeneration, recovery of injuries, immunity to diseases, ect..
- As a citizen complete quests or kill creatures, will get Mini-Bonuses, example: 0.3 RES, 0.5 Def,this will make every citizen unique, (If they are all the same, it will not be fun)
Customizable Flags
the game is really beautiful and has a nice concept, pixel graphics do not penalize it, on the contrary, it makes it more beautiful, the things I would like to see are: more things in standard mode (for example orcs and elves); an improvement of the military system and implementing a trading system (for example with ships); a slight enlargement of the map; alliances between humans and elves for a common enemy. for the rest the game is very nice and I recommend it to everyone. thank you in advance for an answer.
