Hey, clan members and owners!
Due to the drawbacks in noticeability that come with the current placement of the clans category, we've decided to strongly relax our strictness the weekly activity requirement until we find a more permanent solution to the problems that this category move has caused! While it doesn't do a lot to solve the core issue at hand, we've figured that it's the best thing to do until we can work out a good final placement for this category! Hope this helps to calm clan owners who don't want to lose their 10m cc, and in the meantime, we also wish all of you a happy new year!

Starting now, we have made it impossible to send people clan invites unless they first explicitly opt into wanting to receive clan invites using the /clans allow_invites or the ~allow_clan_invites command. This is to avoid issues with people accidentally joining into clans without even understanding what a clan is.
If you intend to invite someone into a clan, make sure to tell them to opt into invites if they haven't already. Note that the commands can also be used to opt back out if needed. By default, everyone is opted out of being able to receive clan invites.

We're now introducing a new feature called "clan join requests". By using the command /clans allow_join_requests or ~allow_clan_join_requests (usable by owners and co-owners), a button will appear under your clans listing in #📂clans-list that anyone (including people who have clan invites disabled) can press to send a request to join your clan into your clan chat. This request can then be accepted by owner, co-owners, and arbiters, resulting in the user who sent the request being added to the clan. Of course, it's also possible to disable join requests again at a later point with the same command.

Hey everyone, we are introducing a new feature called Clan Alliances! 
How the commands work:
/clans ally for allying with a clan.
/clans unally for unallying with a clan.
/clans noally for completely disbanding your alliances.
How the alliances work:
When clans are allied, they can see each other's text channels. One clan can contribute to the activity of another clan by writing in the text channel of the other clan!
The clan entries in #📂clans-list show who a clan is allied with, if anyone.

Hello, clan owners/members!
We've introduced a new feature to clans called "badges"! These badges show up as single emojis chosen by the badge recipient next to the clans member/warn count in #📂clans-list, and badges can be earned through either clan events, statistical accomplishment, other special occasions, or just for fun!
If a clan has any badges, it's possible to view more details about them by either using /clans view_badges (if you want to check badges of your own clan) or ~view_clan_badges "Target Clan Name" (if you want to view the badges of another clan)!
Some clans have already received initial badges for things that have already taken place before we added this feature, and the amount of badges will only continue to grow in the future!

All clan alliance commands have been reorganized to allow for clans to own multiple distinct alliances simultaneously!
All of your existing alliances now have IDs/names, you can see these by running /clans view_alliance_info. Currently, existing alliances have ugly default names, but you can fix this with the /clans rename_alliance current_alliance_name: new_alliance_name: command (put the alliance ID as current_alliance_name for alliances you haven't named yet). Commands like /clans ally now take alliance name as a parameter, so that you can specify the specific alliance you want to add someone to! To create completely new alliances, you can run /clans create_alliance alliance_name:.

Clans have now been reworked to allow for the creation of completely custom positions! Co-Leaders and Arbiters remain as default positions in the new system, but it's possible to freely change all permissions of the positions, delete them entirely, or add new ones!
To see how you can configure positions, type /clan-positions and check the autocomplete options provided by Discord! If nothing shows up, it's likely because your client has an outdated slash commands cache, so try restarting Discord.

~ping_clan_alliance: Ping all leaders of the clans within a specific alliance of your clan.
These two commands and the normal ping_clan command also now have "ping_specific" version (ping_specific_clan, etc) that let you manually specify the clan name instead of having AMP infer it, in case that's a syntax you prefer using.
Hope it'll help with managing your diplomacies and internal leadership structures more properly!

As soon as we celebrated the 20th anniversary of the 🇧🇷 Brazilian Clan streak 2 weeks ago, their long-term victory after victory was interrupted by the ⛪ Church of Greg - which is simply unthinkable! (was I the only one who was shocked? thought brazilians were unbeatable

New faces have appeared during the second week - it's so nice to see our old Indonesian WorldBox Society and Arab-Muslim League back on the leaderboard - heyyy there!

Everyone was preparing for Christmas so much that leaderboard decided to stop showing messages for this period... though the first place was || REDACTED ||, and yeah, that appearing on the #1 place is truly legendary! I hope everyone had a good rest and had a good time! Right?
However, on the second week, the leaderboard started working again (yeah) and decided to show us an unexpected result - 🔥 Heat Horde, the clan of ash and fire, returned and took the first position on the leaderboard! Congratulations for its members!
On behalf of all Clan Managers, congratulations to everyone on the beginning of 2026! We wish you success in life, simple human happiness and more activity in your favorite mini-communities!

The year 2026 began with very stormy news in the world, but it's good that everything is stable in our clans - unfortunately, some had to be deleted so far, but this means that only the strongest remain - be proud of it! 
I want to share that this year we will focus on improving the Clan System, perhaps *a collaboration with another recently opened rp section *of the server will follow. So stay tuned and do everything you can to make your clan enter a new era strong and powerful

In the past weeks, three brand new clans have been created! Welcome to the Nikon's Cartel, the Highwaymen Clan (apparently the car lovers), and The Hispanic Hive clan.
Also, our very clan, the **Aussie **one, as implied, behaved very *sussy *- first abruptly flew to the first position in the ranking on the first week of February, and then just as quickly disappeared from the leaderboard. What a ||sussy|| clan!

Slight FYI, activity warns are only getting handed out now as I spent the last few days preparing for travel. I already did the activity checks at the normal time so message counts are based on that, I'm just late with handing out warns.
On that note, Casa Maharlika has been deleted for inactivity, this time message counts were tripple checked to ensure that this is not a false deletion agian.

Slight FYI, since it used to be a frequest problem that the auto pluralization of clan positions would look wrong on certain names, I have added the ability to manually specify a plural instead of relying on AMP to create it. You can make use of this in existing positions with the new optional "plural_name" parameter of the rename commands.
