Ep 1 Review: ||Wow. I can see how much work and time went into this series. It really showed the world building and Terra as a whole, something the game could never do. Ep 0-3 was never bad, it just needed to be brought out into a 3D world. The animation, music, everything. The plan to save the Ursus mother and child, you can truly see it happen. The running through Chernobog, man. They did incredible. And Crownslayer aaaaaa, I'm so fucking hyped for the next ep||

Prelude to Dawn ep 3: ||What an episode. It's funny that I'm learning more even with being a long time player, it truly gives a better experience when you go from a 2d flat screen to a 360 view. And the cameos! No Blue Poison unfortunately, but seeing the Power Plant, Factory, Trading Post, and dorms come to life is amazing. And now on to Ep 2-3, Misha Arc. And man, does that need polishing. But, the polishing done in this episode was really good.||
Some notes of key changes and realizations:
||Amiya is a literal tank with her arts||
||Talulah has a barrier||
||Catastrophes are terrifying||
||Ace is insanely strong holy shit||

||Change: making W much more pacifist, which makes more sense knowing her plans||

Prelude to Dawn ep 4: ||Ha, it's quite nostalgic to see stuffed up and stern Ch'en again. This episode was a really good set up, especially how Misha was directed. It felt so real to actually see the Lungmen slums and the infected, to see how bad the conditions really were. The A1 team and Yato appearances were awesome as well. Great cliffhanger for the next ep too. I'm excited to see what they do with these episodes from the game.||

EP 8: ||What a well done finale. The va work was phenomenal, Ch'en, Amiya, and Mishas vas were just fantastic. The animation lagged a bit from the va but the tragic end of Misha was well done, though I wish there was more of a visual show of Ch'en killing her. Quite the low note to end on, but don't worry, it gets more painful from here. Overall, for the so called "worst act", Yostar Pictures did it justice.||

First Ep Review:
Wow, fantastic first episode. I'm glad they used Hayashi's osts more, gave the eerie feelings where they needed to be. Great continuing from last season and stopped where it gets heavy.
||God, seeing the fire Reunion sign animated is something else. Though, I believe they made it subtle enough that people caught onto what he was burning.||
||Frostnova's entrance with Hayashi's ost was great, what a cliffhanger.||
Btw, ||was the ed just to flex their good cgi lol? Reunion ED goes hard but it's still kinda funny. Though I loved the zoom in to the Mephistofied soldier.||
All in all great first ep.

Perish in Frost Ep 5 (13) review:
Ep 13... wow.
After a lackluster ep 12, this is what was needed. Absolutely amazing. Even better than Ep 10 if I might say.
||First, Eno and Sasha's childhood. Perfectly put between Eno's abused past, the orginium scene (god that was hard to watch, YP you did not hold back), and his eventual transformation to the psychopath he is. Eno and Sasha's relationship was expressed fully, nothing missing to show their heavy bond with one another, leaving Faust to do the only thing he can do, sacrifice himself to save Mephisto. And he went out like a champ.||
||Next of course, Blaze Blaze Blaze. Her character came across well, and ofc the Amiya hug and the Doctor carry 🙏 Thank you YP. Also how powerful she is was again shown well, "I could incinerate your lungs", jumping from building to building, my girl.||
||Now, how gritty this episode was. I think YPs now realized Link Click existed, cause this is the brutal AK I know. Between the zombie hoarde, Faust's slow path towards death, the originium shoved down Eno's throat, the Slum Massacre, and the merciless killing of infected by the Black Raincoats, shit was brutal.||
||Faust and Greythroat's standoff was also great, tense moment between infected and non-infected, "It's kill or be killed."||
||And different ending version! Love the contrast between the proud and the despairing Reunion Leaders, and the fast flashing of the leaders changes to the LGD and Lungmen co, ain't that interesting.||
Overall, brilliant episode. It just gets better from here.

My final thoughts
Wow. Before I write, let me just say you did it Yostar Pictures. Albeit cutting Ch 5 a bit (though not really important), 3 lengthy chapters in 8 episodes with all the important bits kept. Well done.
Now,
||Honestly, this episode was perfect. The build-up, the anticipation, the clash of ideals between fights, the overpowering might of Frostnova where there was no victor in the end. Doctor and Frostnova's intimate moments before her passing was done beautifully, the urgency in her voice telling of how it should be, and how it should continue after her passing. Doctor's emotion brought out to its fullest, the death of a new fellow comrade. The VAs did absolutely fantastic as they did last season, another 12/10 performance.||
||They did omit a funny line in Greythroats/Blazes dialogue, yet I thought the serious atmosphere that was already established between Amiya's confrontation with Wei and the dialogue of ideals and companionship.||
||With Ch'en seemingly close to breaking and Kal discussing the pending doom approaching (including a Kaschey name drop), we are now set for the start of Chapter 7.||
Overall, I believe Yostar Pictures did a great job with a big improvement from the last season. Final Rating: 8.5/10
