Uhhhhh corn snakes and king snakes stay pretty small. The gopher snake I have will get 6 feet at absolute max. I recommend gophers for beginners because they’re very energetic and they don’t get very big. Just make sure to look for captive bred and frozen/thawed fed. Don’t buy a snake if it will only eat live food. Frozen thawed is a lot safer because the flash freeze process kills all potential illnesses the mouse/rat could transmit to the snake.

Corn snakes are probably a better bet for beginners tough because they don’t get as big or live as long. A gopher snake is a 25~ year commitment

Yeah no problem! You should only take the snake out of its enclosure 2-3 times a week max, don’t wanna stress the lil guy out. And always make sure that if it’s out you’re handling the snake. If you let it roam it’ll get lost in your furniture and get hurt very easily. It’s like having a toddler, but instead of being worried about it eating laundry pods and sticking forks in the outlets you’ve gotta be worried about it slithering inside of your couch never to be seen again

@cursive grove Thats such a great picture . Your cat looks like my Hana . I had to put her down a few weeks ago due to water build up in her lungs and around her heart . It was the hardest thing i ever had to do in my life . We were so close . I dont think i have ever been as close to a human than i was close to her . Please take good care of your cat and make sure to get regular vet visits .....

So sorry for your loss. That is rough. I had to put his sister down a year and a half ago. He's 14 now, so I'm keeping an eye out for any issues. He does get his checkups. My apartment complex requires vax proof for them.
