I can see why vipertech would be good but still doesn't justify spending more than 1.5k on it unless you're a collector. It's made with real rifle parts with solid internals. However you can get the same by putting in some work into a gbbr that cost $500 stock + $100 upgrades. At that price range, you can build your own real AR because you're basically buying real AR converted to airsoft

i was talking to this guy at my site hes a mate now i guess

he bought a vsr second hand that was boneyard and put a ml trigger box and shit in it

and the cylinder trigger channel was to tight as soon as i tried his rif i relised it was rly jagged bolt pull and told him you might want to dremmel the inside a mil or 2 to help that

anyway he didnt he put a new piston and shit in

and then after 3 game days his rif was rly incosistant i told him you hop rubber is probably torn or put some teflon tape around the bucking and barrel

anyway the trigger unit had ground down the cylinder and made loads of metal shavings and they had been shot through his hop rubber that had been torn to shit because of it

anyway told him how to fix it and now it shoots slightly worse than my srs

So about the SSR4 discussion: Been digging into it a little, heck ton of conflicting info out there, I don't know too much about tech either, but here's what I think is in there:

• Dytac externals (same as specna edge I think) and gearbox
• ZCI high torque motor (which can also be bought for 37€ on their website)
• modified t238 ETU
• Lancer HopUp

Thoughts? I'm looking for a 350€ max AEG, had decided to get a Specna SA-14 Edge, that one died, I may or may not get the money for it back. If they refuse the return and I get it back, I'll throw in the a new motor and see if that was the problem. If not, what should I get? Another SA-14, after all that was probably just bad luck and so far, that's my go to option, or something different? Requirements are metal externals (body and handguard) and M4 platform.
