From what I've heard RS compatability is decent for ARs. I believe almost all stocks are drop in, although they may need to be shimmed or filed a little because of tolerances. Pistol grips are compatible on GBBs. Handguards often are real spec too, but that definitely can vary and should be researched beforehand. With some knowledge even real steel uppers/ lowers can be modified.
Some companies already use RS forged lowers that are machined to be airsoft compatible.
As was said, VFC should be decent, TM is mostly proprietary. GHK should mostly be real spec too but the platform needs a lot of work internally to perform well. The absolute best would probably be Vipertech, but also the most expensive. For HPA, a Wolverine Forged edition comes to my mind.
I can recommend to check out Explosive Enterprises on YT, they do extensive reviews, RS compatability checks, upgrades and general quality.

Friend wanted realistic RoF for hes S&T PPSH-41, after getting close to that 30 RPS and running it with 11.1 lipo, motor's bevel gear broke but it was original one so wasn't too surprising

Good thing almost everything can be upgraded and replaced in airsoft, only minus always is getting stuff our from gun as PPSH uses some ares copy of V7 gearbox if i don't remember wrong, its just painful

As a fellow aksu tape enjoyer i love the spirit of the blue tape, but i would save it for mags or accents, think athletic tape is a good option if you want a quicker rustic look. Also the mp5 is tight asf i would go with that personally, you could retape the light to the mp5 gas tube and pop the hand-guard on it might look pretty clean if you are using lights a lot.

unless you are in the business of actually getting good at working at gearboxes, then maybe you can, but expect many failures and lots of money down the drain until you figure out how to do things properly

I have both uppers and I’ve heard of both a1 uppers and a2 used as well as various models and barrel profiles used and changed over time in service but I may go for the later m4 profile barrel.

Tbh if you think about it the carbine using the older less adjustable upper makes sense and also uses older parts

The older upper was still use in 90”s
Delta force operator used m653, xm177e2, and they used m723/m733 with the diemaco upper (a1 upper with brass deflector)

M653 and m723 are much lighter than the m727 (barrel thickness, less thick upper without brass deflector for the m653)

That’s why the m727 was more of a “grunt” rifle than his older counterparts

I believe it was discontinued, said so in Taiwangun, but it's essentially just the Cyma 653, but it came with M4 handguards, had to get slim ones seperately

Whats not a $35 fix is the bolt assembly in my mini mosin, the chinese in their infinite wisdom put a steel shim on a mating surface that goes against mild steel + a brass gas seal

Eventually that seals gonna fail and the gun will just spray CO2 out of the bolt, so Im gonna machine an aluminium sheet with a hook to work with the bolt geometry
