i have a CYMA AK with EBB managed to break 2 things but one of them was my fault other one was bad luck. managed to break the gears cause I used a 11.1v lipo and the charging handle broke cause it fell on it.

got a custom made cast Charging handle for it now (sounds much better then the original tbh.) and changed the gears to stronger ones (that was back in 2011) its still running strong

however i realized if you plan on changing your ak much externally, you're better off using the akm as a base

because you have a gas tube in case you don't want the short railed gas tube on the akx

and you have a full length barrel as opposed to the short barrel on akx

atleast i didn't have to buy a railed gas tube

(i had to buy an entire akm frontend just for the two little gas tube connectors)

Dude I figured something out about the lct HK33 and I bet it applies to the G3 as well. Inside the mag well there is a little locking nub if you remove it, you can almost straight insert the mags like an MP5

I'd recommend giving it a try if you have an option to rent. Airsoft people are some of the nicest folk I've met, period. Of course heavily depends on the exact field though. I've seen people hand somebody whose gun kicked the bucket their 1000$+ HPA rifle for the day. Especially newbies are treated incredibly well at our field.
