I have both the n7 milsim and the p* f2. Can't really compare the 2. One is mechanical and other has a fcu. N7 is great for simple semi builds + mechanical so less things can go wrong/easier to maintenance and fix.
F2 is great for the fire-rate, air efficiency, and consistency. Tbh you don't need more than a semi-only like a p* Kythera or n7 milsim for most cases

Considering an f2 is more the twice the cost of n7 and Kythera, they better be good tbh

clean and lubricating your guns properly will make them run fine on GG

Imo yes, mine does a great job. Used it stock for a while now it's tuned way up. Mine has metal externals, decent quality for the price. Internals are a good deal too, nothing that needs upgrading immediately. Quick change spring is a blessing too.
Personally I have an edge 1.0 series, the 2.0s have a better quick change, recommend getting one of those

Try tightening/loosening the screw on the bottom of the pistol grip

If not then it sounds like your pistons teeth have stripped and the noise you hear is the gears rubbing over them

Not reliably imo. You can do it if you understand in some depth what part goes where and know some tricks about how to reassemble a gearbox. There's just a bunch of small stuff that can go wrong. And if you don't know exactly what the problem is you'll be stuck for hours upon end and you might end up breaking parts on accident.
The fact that you did if without issue is cool but doesn't mean anybody will be that lucky. For me, I've seemingly always been rear-ended by my gun it feels like. Nothing ever wanted to work because of the dumbest stuff, like the cutoff lever deciding it doesn't like my new gear set. Easily fixable, but only when you know the problem. It just manifests in my gun burst firing in semi auto (my country is semi only). Which could be due to a bunch of stuff - electrical issues, cutoff lever, gears, weak spring with powerful motor and shortstroked gears... The likes. Sucks to diagnose
