Almost all ky friends run then right out the box and they work perfectly shooting about 380 to 410 fps and no jams or breaking with the guns

Ignore the kid that said combat machine. You’re best options are either VFC for quality however you will end up paying a decent amount of money (upwards of 350). If you’re on a bit of a budget, get a specna arms edge/edge 2.0 series M4. Most of them are repros of RS shit meaning you can use them at any milsim you choose. They will cost between 190 and 300.

is that the green gas mag isn't pushing enough power through to fully cycle the gun

causing the trigger to never reset

It could be an issue with the striker and/or hammer
spring crapping out, causing less gas to get released
leading to less recoil and no full cycle. The issue of it
running away into full auto could also be a weak sear
spring, or whatever keeps the action from repeating.
Best bet is to replace those; only issue is finding parts. Better yet send the gun back earlier models of the VFC sig was known to break
