I just force it down. Make sure the helmet is fitted perfect with minimal wobble and just yank it, or, pull on the slot it's attached to and lift it so it falls down, then put the slot back in

@timid robin if you are able to spend anywhere from 347$ and up get a LCT Ak they are some of the best airsoft guns out their right out of the box and will last extremely long without needing any upgrades how ever if your price range is around 160$ and up get a specna arms m4 platform and do some upgrades to your liking and or lancer tac m4 or cyma or matrix and upgrade them or a G&G Combat Machine and it could do fine out of the box
