Ya it’s changed a lot. I ETS at end of 2010 just a couple months over 8 years. I was actually stop lossed for my last year and some change to drag one more deployment out of me

Ya it was like extra 500/month. I was a single E6 so it was alright money

I made the E7 list that deployment but refused to reup to hit my sequence number. Is 7 in 7 still a thing? It was pretty common during GWOT at least in the infantry

Bonuses were drying up towards end of Iraq. 3k for 6 more years hell no. Deployment prior our E5s were getting 25k for 4 years
