@gritty bay You're kinda up the creek without a paddle there guy. the best way that you could do Is by sewing on an extra buckle to the immediate right of it. if you don't know the exact buckle just take it to Any sewing store that you have near you and just test out which buckle fits. it's how I do most of my arts and crafts like that

It's the original Molle II ruck, The best part about it is that you don't lose internal volume To the sleeping bag because it's essentially a medium rock with a sleeping bag carrier under it

And then you can strap the assault pack to the back of it if you need more space

You can also just jam snacks into the sleeping bag carrier because it's easy to kind of like shove your hand in there to grab whatever snack you need
