Unfortunately, the kangaroo pouch of my cpc vest is not compatible with the scar 17 7.62mm magazine, it only fits the 5.56mm magazine. I contacted crye precision and confirmed this with them; if you use brute force, you can indeed remove the magazine Stuff it in, but doing so will definitely cause damage to the kangaroo pouch, and only two magazines can be stuffed in. There is not enough space for the third magazine.

That's not how tarkov works

The devs don't care, they aren't going to make some random pouches incompatible with certain mags. They barely even actually model individual pouches in inventory and most rigs inventory slots are fairly arbitrary.

Prime example of this would be surefeed 60 rounders and magpul 60 rounders being 2 slot mags and going into any rigs' 2slot pouches. They are far too fat to fit into a standardish single mag pouch irl, but in tarkov you could bring a bank robber rig with 4 of them
