From what I saw yesterday,it was very crisp, and let in a lot of light, the 403r would only work in really bright places or it would just turn black
Eotech is very nice for nods
And the ak platform seems to be a great night vision platform as the height over bore was perfect for nodding with no riser, and then where mine is gastube mounted I didn't have to worry about hitting my nods on the optic
