Ok so to break this down. Since people won't stop flaming BSG. . . . They cannot buy more servers just because of the twitch drop event. Tarkov had peaked at over 200k concurrent players back in the summer. Then a lot of people stopped playing the game because there hadn't been major new content since Reserve was launched in October of 2019. The player count had tanked and twitch views as well as number of streamers had tanked. New wipe, a lot of new content. Christmas sale combined with Twitch drops and now in-raid airdrops. The game jumped back to way beyond 200k concurrent players the last few days. Due to BSG's contract with the server host, they cannot just "buy servers". It simply is not an option. So their choice was to either continue letting entire regions' servers crash to the point that nobody is able to play the game, and have to do server maintenance every night. . . . or add a queue so people can play the game. Yes, everyone might have to wait a while, but now the servers are far more stable. And they aren't having to spend hours of their normal work days trying to fix temporary server instability.

Are we not gonna talk about how stupidly quickly you can die from exahustion/dehydration and how unnecessarily super important it is to your survival? Like I've gone longer times without eating than these PMCs. People can go without eating or drinking for days until they start actually dying. Why should I literally die for not drinking in a few hours? And it's so stupid, like imagine killing a team of 3 and then dying 20 mins later because you dont have some fruit juice.
