Because the loot in Violet is right next to red, the items in their aren't worth crazy amounts 10 to around 300k if your lucky. If you have red, it will help you finish out the loot run. It's like putting a chocolate topping on your ice cream.

Well generally if you're playing fine, BSG updates, then you start disconnecting

it's because BSG changed something with how thier servers connect so you need to factory reset your router to reset your settings and they usually makes the problem go away

The extract bug isn't entirely BSGs fault, it is mainly from desych between the game and user of which can be mitigated with a smidge of networking knowledge to make sure your game has as much throughput as it neeeds.

Sound itself is hella fucked though, not really much I can say about that. I don't know for sure but it feels like it's more an issue on older maps since it's not entirely tooled for the new sound system

Its not like a battle royale. You bring gear in, loot, and If you extract you get out with the loot to put in your stash--to sell, keep, or bring in later. Loot is mainly junk and valuables, not gear, unless you kill someone or something.

You can leave at any time at an extraction point, some are more difficult than others depending on map. Insurance is roughly 15percent of an items value.

Game timer varies depending on map. 20 to 50 minutes. In factory, most pmcs leave or die before 10

my best advice is start watching youtube videos and going into offline raids

learn the map first rather than using your PMC and going into an online raid. If you wanna make money at least, then go in as a scav.

Learn customs first cause that's your first map and learn the norm callouts that everyone uses.

hi, sorry for asking here, but the eftchat1 turned into a battleground, soo, i wanted to ask here, my friend just bought the game and goddamn its pain for some reason. Sometimes even the main menu wont load at all, and when it finally does its laggy as hell. Then when he gets into game (tries to) it loads slooooowly, and when reaching the loot loading, it basically stops, waiting for a while and then it aborts. try not to use wifi if youre on it, same happened to me often, i was dropping packets due to being on wifi, never enough to outright be noticable unless it was in tarkov/a few other competitive games. I ran a traceroute -t on google.com and would see it be like 15 ping 15 ping, 15 ping all solid, then suddenly it would be unable to reach host for 1-2seconds then go back to normal low ping again.

Tarkov really seems to dislike packet loss and would kick me out of raid for it too.

Bad enough either they screwed it up on me too even, had to have like, 4 runs back when they thought it was my GPU, otherwise I'd be on my 1 year old 1080 still. (I would have actually had my 3rd gen computer entirely rebuilt through them) but they only stock the latest stuff, no custom orders. Let game through your firewall, also make sure you're on Ethernet not a spotty Wi-Fi connection. Also, 16gb of ram and an ssd.

If you have low ram and slow storage, game hangs so long on load that you get DCd. Try Factory map, min settings, see if you still get DCd
