i think i just had the peak of my experience in this game, i'll explain what happened.

So.

i spawn as a scav in customs near the river, see a guy hiding behind a container, shoot at him for a while, throw a nade, rush him, see him hiding in a bush and shoot him again, but because of my shitty VPO AK, he survives, we trade shots for 2 minutes until i start getting shot on the side by another dude, i rush the first guy and headshot him twice with my pistol, being shot to the leg i move inside the container and just lay down waiting for my inevitable death, but the sniper guy made the wrong choice of entering the container on the side i was looking at rather than the other side, so i just magdump him and kill him with 15 shots out of my pistol in less than 3 seconds, i get up, having no meds, climb up the hill with three heavy bleedings, and the last thing i see before i bleed out is "Welcome to TARKOV" written on a wall.

without trying to sound cruel, did you try getting good? getting 10+ kills all with headshots gets you a shitload of XP

Also, break your legs or when you get a bleed just mass heal through it until exfil

using meds provides quite a bit of XP added to raids, loot everything and then throw it on the ground outside of containers, Heal using grizzly's outside of raid, Build your library

Upgrade intel centre to level 3, make sure to put your weapon on scav, pick up theirs and trash it on ground, then pick yours back up, weapons are good XP too

there is quite a ton of loot on woods actually if you know where to look. i easily pull 500-700k from there nearly risk free. the map size allows you to play it however you want as well, with minimal risk of pmc contact.

Check the villages along the east/NE, the usec medical camp E of mill, the 'attachment house' north of mill

all usually contested though, so expect scav pvp and to avoid pmcs scope it out or go later into the raid. however its mostly scavs that get it -- many pmcs go for other objectives besides looting the villages in my experience

In Raid 5, it seems they were employed by TG. In contract wars they were an elite 3rd PMC that was the best of the best and had access to the best equipment for basically free (the company apparently covers all equipment costs), so more then likely they're one of the few active entities in Tarkov that still work for TG and are in active communication

I dont even think they'll be location specific, more then likely they'll play an important role toward the end of the storyline and become an active enemy right up to the end, and then they'll be a very rare enemy that appears under certain circumstances on all maps, like a very low karma high-level player who's on a win streak

I killed a bunch of guys on shoreline once and i was in east bottom floor looking out towards backyard when i heard a scav walking below the window i could see his head but i didnt have barrel clearance so i couldnt exactly shoot him... I knew if i tried again to get a better angle by jumping on something he'd fkin headshot me i had a exfil and its faceshield on so i thought i coukd take the risk.. the moment i jumped up to the angle he was already looking at he headeyes me with m855a1

m855 struggles to pen anything beyond lvl 3. For scavs purely sure, but you should honestly be using m856a1 as a minim. M4s are expensive and you can buy cheaper and better ammo for cheaper guns like BT for an RPK.

About the firerate for an M4, you aren't going to be able to magdump someone unless you're behind them. The TTK is going to be almost always slower than everyone else. Most fights result in around 5-6 rounds actually hitting.
