Try hanging around the area for a bit. in my own experience people tend to go there even late in the raid. also make sure to check the sniper scav rock when you get around the area. there's almost always a free pmc kill taking a nap up there.

With the woods expansion Shooter 8 is a lot harder in general because they didn't increase the amount of players on the map from before it was expanded, so people are more spread out. But eventually everyone moves to the sawmill it seems.

If I'm going for PVP usually it's CQB. The faster firerate makes it so that even if the shots do less damage the TTS will be faster. I like 7.62 for loot runs because my PVP will be far more variable and I'm going to go with a less modded out gun so making hits is more priority.
