i saw a couple threads on reddit already as alot of players slipped into this task recently (makes sense) ... understandably alot of ppl prefer different guns, for tarkov shooter pt7 i was using the DVL, will see if i will either switch to M700/T5000 or stay with it ... but i don't trust SNB/7N1 anymore ... feel 7.62x51 is the better option for me especially since on customs i had no real trouble killing the sniper scavs up to 350m ... whilst with SNB even though it's faster then M62 i never could really hit, except with the SVD, but the quest is not semi automatic ...

Thats your first tarkov mistake, your new, dont run 2mil high ruble loadouts, use a sv-98 with irons, use a pistol, heck at this state of the game only wear a helmet or a paca if you are having trouble with scavs.
Your biggest thing right now is going to be learning maps and how not to stand still too long in the open, high traffic lanes, camping locations, ect.

I just run from all the bigger boys unless I'm sure I have a way of catching them off guard and there's absolutely nothing wrong with that. Just quest and level until you can run viable PvP gear. Honestly it's fun in its own right.

If you have packet loss you'll want to call your ISP, not complain in a community discord server friend.

ping has nothing to do with packet loss, packet loss is your ISP discarding your traffic and not delivering it to the endpoint, i.e. BSG's servers. Different games have different requirements for how many packets are required to arrive at the end point before prompting a disconnect based on how much of the game interface exists client side/server side.
BSG literally has absolutely no control over "packet loss" because they aren't the one's who handle your internet traffic.

They also have an incredibly low tolerance for packet issues, under 1% Can trigger a disconnect from EFT, the internet in general allows 2.5%, and most applications/games continue to function upwards of 4-5% packet loss.
Source, I am technical support for the a half a dozen ISP's, packet loss is not the game, it's you/your internet.

Go download pingplotter, set it to 1ms, ping google.com, and let it run for 24 hours, all the red in the graph will be packet loss - Send to your ISP and say fix it.
It will literally show them the IP addresses for every piece of hardware so they can identify whether it's a first or third layer issue.

Probably not, Steam is generally used as a platform so your game has an immediate playerbase. But since BSG has their own platform and a decent playerbase not much of an incentive to move to steam considering steam takes a portion of the sale.

so on customs alot of scavs are running around with vpo's or mosins, these are also sniper scavs
