It's survival tutorial not a gunplay one. Honestly imo gunplay is the least important part of the fight it's positioning, because even if you miss a few shots you have the extra reaction time to compensate.

What's really important for newer players is to slow down, as they often just rush and get headshot from some place. Perhaps this guide isn't perfect to completely follow but I think it provides an important lesson of playing slow and being aware of where others are.

Scav Ate my Legs made a video about gun shots inside and outside buildings, I don't believe that it's necessarily feasible to learn every gunshot noise from the video unless you're really dedicated but it's still a good concept none the less and you can watch the video and the hear a gunshot and perhaps won't know what gun it is, but whether it's inside or not.

Might be a good video for you to make and you can show off the certain noises from certain rooms in resort as you were saying. Certainly a good idea.
