Actually Beta testing relies on resetting all the time
you need to reset to see how all stages of the game work with new additions or changes to old features
resetting during beta works really well
the whole point of beta testing is to see if you can replicate bugs
to figure out what is causing them. Say for example the bug that causes I think it's Spa Tour pt 5 to count any face cover and rig to count instead of balaclava and scav vest
it's happened every wipe since the quest was introduced but it still hasn't been fixed

Speaking of bugs, I wonder what is causing the audio bug when there's too many shots fired on the map and the audio bugs out. It kind of like breaks the sound and you can hear only few initial shots, a silence and then the end of full auto.

I think to create immersion they'd need implement huge punishment for deaths. Some people say that the game publishes you hard enough but I disagree with these people.
Also to me immersive gameplay would be a sneaky way to play. The complete opposite of warrun gameplay or Chad's gameplay who run through the map not even looking around.
By increasing the death penalty such running like a chimpanzee wouldn't benefit them in the long run.
I'd really want to see a XP lose after death.

if you insure your secure container it will be brought back to you within the day

you need to go back to the place you died

but you might ask what do i do while waiting for insurance
you can own multiple containers
and it adds a complexity

@meager finch It sounds to me like it's time to change your play style. Try running a fast food truck and when all the PMC arrive to it you kill them!
And as eoknn said scavs tank shots, they have over 400HP so you'll need several shots to the chest to kill. Aim for the head.
Then again there's a big right now where sole are tanking hs

That's down to map knowledge you need to know where you can move to, when to spring, when to stop,etc. One of the best tools is getting to the area and stopping to lsjte.

but as written before ... i ffel like, the game was less frustrating, when i was level10 and below and didn't know all spots
now that i know the complete maps with all spawns, it simply made it harder for me to move ... guess not knowing where ppl could be made it easier for me just to go into a direction as you had no idea anyway where ppl could be ... but now with knowing i spawn in the middle of possible two other spawns, i fear the immediate spam of bullets into my directions, or getting rushed, or camped in way more then without knowing all that 😦
but i think the biggest issues is for me not expecting anyone else to suck ... if i move in dorms ... and i hear ppl ... i assume immediately they know exactly my location where i am ... which means attacking them in a way that surprises them is not possible in my mind ... as no matter if i move stairs, the outer stairs, they can locate me on the spot where i move, so they can adapt their positioning immediately ... when i watch streams and i see ppl running around and jumping and then suddenly be behind a guy, i cannot understand, how ppl cannot hear that ...
and with hearing comes another problem ... i have no idea how ppl can hear "3" different ppl or hear people crouching or just aiming with their weapons ... and then know the exact location in terms, the room and basically in what corner the guy is sitting ... if i hear movement, then it's basically ... well "that direction there" ... and i tried all headsets ingame

@meager finch knowing where people are based on sounds is also often a lot of experience. If you played the game long enough to know how the sound in the different buildings and areas works its a lot easier to determine where people are
Also if you know you most likely spawned in a sandwich just try to act only in ways that will help you to get out of that sandwich. Even if youre scared even more bc you know youre in a really bad spot theres no use in doing nothing against it. Its either dieing doing something against it or just dieing bc your still in a spot people will expect you to be when they rush the spawn

Also be aware of the ammo that you use and how well it deals with level 5 and 6 armour
I tend to use only ammo that ignores level 5 and penetrates level 6
That way you can be sure that your gun will kill in 2 or 3 hits to chest

You can use positioning and awareness to shoot the enemies before they can shoot at you
Keep in mind that if you make noise and and hear an enemy there is a good chance that he heard you as well
When that happens you can crouch and walk slowly and listen or then push the guy you heard

well i guess all my opponents are simply way more experienced in terms of when to shoot ... usually if i run towards them or slowly move with silent steps ... they shoot earlier .... even if they rush into my room when i sit there, they shoot before i can react, what i totally cannot understand, as i would assume, that i should be able to kill them, as they start running and my client should see their body earlier ... the last couple rounds with my AK, all my 3 60round mags were untouched when i died ... i always died, before i even made a shot ...

If you peek slow and silent but they expect you to push and wait they have a big advantage since they only need to look at one spot and you have to find them first
Also lots of people just prefire if they know that the enemy has to be in that exact room

Woods is very easy, make sure you know where all the spawn points and then decide on what to do after that.
For example if you spawn on the left side mid to bottom, you bolt in to the forest and either rush to the marked forest or hold the line for people coming through behind you. If you spawn left top it's a slow and steady pace behind everyone, checking as you go.
If you spawn on the right side everyone spawns in a line along the wall, if at the bottom work your way up watching the woods to your left. If you spawn mid I find best choice to just bolt o er the road in to the marked woods. And I'd you spawn top it's either the spawn behind the house that you then move left and down in to the woods taking out those top left, and if you spawn top left you bolt down to marked woods and hold the line

For a loot run kit, I usually run an M1 Rig (45k if bartered with Aquamri) and either a 762x5139 weapon to use BP as I can craft them for ~500 per round within my hideout or a 7.62x51 and a helmet. It costs around 150k total. And I bring in 400k. So it always usually pays back.
The ammo you're running is also poor, meaning that it's hard for you to kill enemies even on target
For 5.45 weapons, I would run BS or Ignolik as a minim.

@naive lodge really depends on your region, NA probably has least hackers. I don’t play labs a lot, only played it 3 times, and there was only one mildly suspicious player

@meager finch yep same. 5 matches as a scav whilst chilling and lasted less than 1 minute due to another scav killing me.
Literally spawn and get shot by a scav. Should be a reduced wait if you die less than 2 minutes from spawning.
Got sniper shot to the head on the first 30 seconds in my first one of the day with a helmet and visor on lol.

only time you want to wiggle is in labs, whenever you suspect there is a hacker on the other side of a wall, i usually wiggle at them and then they run the other way, i seen a video on it and hackers on tarkov usually stay away from other hackers and they usually wiggle at eachother, so yeah thats one way to get around hackers and a use for a little wiggle lol
