@frigid quartz Actually looked it up, CloudFlare states that they never return 403 so it's either the client sending wrong data or the server internally screwing up, but since it's a 403 forbidden it seems like a bug, since this points towards the server losing all authentication caching or something along those lines

@wintry kelp BP best against armour but high recoil, T45M/PS/US are worse against armour. T45M gets a recoil buff, accuracy penalty, and tracers. US has very high bullet drop and low recoil. HP is pretty much only against unarmoured, so don't do that.
All four of BP/PS/T45M/US are valid options. US and BP are the most expensive, BP being like 4-5x more expensive.

@gritty remnant It's more than just "upgrade severs lol." First step is upgrade current servers. 2nd step is add more servers. They've already done these things are are continuing to do it. Then comes the 3rd, which takes a lot longer to do. They have to completely overhaul all of their backend systems, which can take months for a team their size. They then have to juggle how much they need to upgrade, as a lot of these players simply won't be playing the game in a few months. You completely underestimate the amount of work it takes to fix these issues.

@wary jackal your first argument is shit because its ALWAYS going to be a missmatch between load at peak times and load at offpeak. so they shouldnt pay for servers they arent using 80% of the time? and thus have everything break down during peaks?... instancing is AWS and the likes. i.e the ability to spin up virtual servers fast. and yes if you are running them 24/7 instancse are expensive. but. theres no reason why you cant mix. have the normal number of servers running week long and then the ability to rapidly spool up instances as load increases on weekends or during events. and then spool them down once the weekend is over. as far as im aware most games that scaled quickly use atleast some level of instances. PUBG and Fortnite both use instances for scaling up and down servers as load changes.

@rain lintel I'll be honest I have no idea how their backend and netcode is but logically (I think) there shouldn't be different matching times for different maps since the map instances would technically be spawned by and hosted on the same server. Seeing how tiny their team is I wouldn't be surprised if they have enough on their plate already

They're a relatively small team, and the amount of work they have to do to completely rework their backend systems could reasonably take months. You're acting like this is a Ubisoft title with infinite resources. It's simply not. It's a very small studio. There is two things you can do, be patient and realize you bought a game that will have bugs, especially when under this amount of stress. Or, go figure out how to develop games (or network games if your feeling special) and go help them. At some point within the second option you will realize just how hard networking and development for this kind of game can be.
