Do you know how much money it takes to run a twitch sponsored drop event? like actually? Thats a HUGE investment not only do you need to buy the ability to "rent" twitchs platform for advertisement you have to have people code integrations for both network systems in order to run drops.
Like its not like you just setup twitch drops in a week or two. Knowing from experience doing twitch related drop events its a 6-8 month process

From an administrative perspective they would know aprox how many players they have concurrent, peak players ect and can plan accordingly in terms of servers needed to run; however. I am not sure if its the Hosting provider they are using to outsource that is the source of the issue or what. All i am saying is 2-3 months to get 99% of server issues accounted for is quite a long time.
I still expect issues now and then but every other day it seems they are having downtime or mass server crash's for 2-6 hours at a time

It may be them not wanting to risk spending hundreds of thousands or millions on servers, it may be negotiations with the service provider, it may be related to their backend and networking architecture not being able to support such high traffic and thus needing a big rework internally, it may be a lot of things

learn how to pvp, learn how to win in resort, learn to hear enemys and don't go farm on a dead server.
if you have money issues, then use your scav run on shoreline/village or interchange, which makes you in 10-15min (on interchange) like 200-400k roubles
buy a VSS with sp-5 (cheap) or better SP-6, buy a c4 armor (e.g. AVS vest), a helmet (6b47), 1 30 round mag, 3 20 rounds mag, a okp-7 or pk-06 on top of it
and then go to resort and kill players (and loot the rooms)
by the way, the east wing is easier than the west wing; and reserve is a amazing money map/pvp map too with less (and cheaper) keys
there really no fun in doing straight farm runs e.g. as a hatchling. Go do scav runs instead and play your pmc with good medium gear. A vss will with sp-6 will drop any player in a 1 sec magdump on resort

i literally brought a mp5 with ap 6.3 ammo (best for 9x19) and shot a dude 5 times just to do 11 damage before he killed me. I also went to labs earlier and did 523 damage by landing to a raider with 7N39 and he didnt die, had to reload and i died
but if i want to chill at 11:30 pm and just grab some loot and make some money using the keys i bought, i would prefer lowpop servers

And they ARE adding new servers but you can't just instantly pay money and suddenly have a hundred new servers up and running. At least, not when you're using your own hardware like they are. keep in mind BSG is not using an elastic cloud platform for hosting
