@lime bough I'm hoping they setup a chinese-only server where we hopefully won't have to deal with cheating and whatnot - the stakes in EFT are massive which also gives major incentive for cheating versus PUBG which only grants you stats and such.

@cobalt lichen Honestly I'd wager a pretty significant chunk of the people complaining are the people who just bought EFT and expected it to run buttery smooth despite it being in beta.

BSG seems understaffed as-is and definitely doesn't have the human capacity to deal with all the issues plaguing the game, like this game literally blew up overnight. I think yesterday I saw 140k people watching EFT on twitch and if even 10, 20% of them bought the game it would overload the servers

@cobalt lichen exactly, we can't guarantee how many of those players will stay so it's not in their best interest to over-commit to buying new servers. Though honestly I don't know whether it would've been better to buy one big server for each region instead of ten small ones (like the recently added US ones), idk how the servers distribute load but I reckon it would've been much easier to deal with one provider instead of multiple (assuming they're from different providers).

Again, if you assume 20 players are in an instance, you'd have to run 500 instances at once for 10k players in-raid, not including the extra stuff you'd have to do for matchmaking, flea market, traders, insurance, etc. No clue what type of backend shit they do per instance either and I have no idea why it's so much harder to get into, say, reserve, than something like Interchange

well the advantage of going in as a scav is that you're already inside the building most of the time

#

I would recommend avoiding mantis and kiba in general though, the tech store on the 2nd floor is a good loot spot but is likely to have geared boys, and oli has good loot but is also usually going to have a lot of action

#

I would recommend hitting idea and moving to goshan and also power plant as theres valuable hideout upgrade materials that can sell for good money and those areas, minus powerplant are less traveled

#

I'd also recommend consulting a map of interchange and coming up with exit strategies and agreeing on cover and flanking routes

Well, they can technically spawn anywhere where there's a PC. Doesn't have to be interchange but interchange is the one with most PCs i know of.

You can do it in like customs but the amount of PCs is lower, meaning you will have to farm for more raids.

#

Either way there's no quick and easy way to find them. Specially if they need to be found in raid.

Anyway, aiming down sights would be a major pain. I think that kind of foregrip is meant to let you hipfire a PKM or the like better, with the sling on that heavy hunk of metal helping to balance it as well.

On a rifle, I struggle to think of a good real reason to use that. Since it would make holding it while aiming a bitch.

personally i dont understand why is the customs the forced beginner map, its honestly just a bad map in general due to all the necessary paths you just have to take to make it into the other side of the map and if you spawn on the other side, you only even have 1 guaranteed extract. the map overall is just so narrow, and made even more so due to the terrible walls

i would honestly like to see a map like shoreline, without the main building and some place on the line of another gas station. just not have too much loot on the map in general, and a decent amount of scavs to go on about learning to shoot as you go. then make all the starter missions there for the newer people to get started a bit more easy
