There are many places in the game where your character will make a dropping sound, but you yourself will not hear it on your client

I did mine on woods, just camp the rock at emercon thats towards un roadblock, if you get close spawn to there its like 50/50 you get a free kill when they loot, another place is camping usec camp from the mountain on the rocks that is like 100m from the usec camp towards sawmill

also the scav village is a good spot, you can drop your backpack in the middle of the road and some timmeh will go and loot it giving you a free kill

hey man yeah no worries! It seems like you have done all that you can, including reinstalling, performance guides etc. The best thing I can suggest to you that I had to do, was look into your CPU and do some research on how powerful it is. I do not know AMD really at all, but my i5-13400F is not good for tarkov. Your GPU is probably not the problem as all the GPU does is the textures, and the rest is the CPU. So in all honesty, look into your CPU and not anything else. 32g of ram is perfect.

None of those things are even true, people conflate "tactical" with "remove hand from keyboard" but if you wanna see what they "intend it to be" then watch the raid series or any gameplay trailer.

Also ratting isn't actually bad. If we overblow the idea of ratting and say "ratting is when you stand still for 25 minutes waiting for someone to cross your path", yes, that is bad.

But you can just as effectively rat for short periods of time when you loot a body and hear someone approach, when you are slowly clearing a building and someone comes up, etc etc. The most effective way to win a gunfight is to just not make noise and get free info on players just cause your hand is not touching the keyboard.

what i do know though is that fsr isn't true frames, it's just fake frames, that adds latency if the original frames are really bad.

from what i gather you should use freesync above vsync with an amd gpu and if your monitor supports it. there's lots of optimization videos on youtube for the game.

there's also a setting for streets and it lowers the texture quality once step down(if you run high it's medium on streets, medium it goes to low, if you run low it dosen't change)

honestly; i found process lasso to be the solution for me and my system; if you just built the system there's... alot of things you can do to make the system more performant; but process lasso isn't a bad start or the end all solution. i watched 2 videos; 1 by klemintime that shows process lasso for tarkov and one from Flame that is more a general setup for process lasso on youtube and i can swear i gained more fps after i did those steps.
