i think the worst part for me was terragroup building having to get the HDD.. mainly because the 1st time around the door was already open and i extracted with it.. then it told me to "acess" the room .. confused me as the next raid the key had been taken again . luckily you can just close the door from the outside. re-open it and walk in then it will tell you that you've gotten access to the room

It's a very confusing map for how small it is. There's 6 buildings but they're all sort of the same inside and hard to figure out which one you're in other than the Terra building.

the only awful thing i will say about the map is how funnelled the 1 turret is where you go up the single stairs with barbed wire to get to the room. if some1 beats you up there and decides to camp it. well you're screwed unless they're terrible players

Simple fix: Matchmaking should be based on preset tiers. Tier 1-2, 3-4, 5-6. Now you don't meet tier 6 when playing lower than 5 tiers (which is aight, tier 5 has good bullets)

Armor only protects where the bullets hit the plates obviously, if you’re for example wear armor that only has a front and a back plate then you can get shot in the rib cage which is un protected and it’ll completely negate the armor it depends what armor you’re using, the areas the armor protects and what level plates you have and what ammo the other person has.

I played a fuckton of pscav on streets myself and was spawning 4-5 minutes in, its as regular as it is on lighthouse, except less players scav streets because less players can even run streets due to bluescreens or fps issues. Aint no way you meet more pscavs in streets than lighthouse and aint no way its more of a problem than it ever was.

most people who play undoubtedly can play based on hardware, my brother with an i5 4690k and gtx 760ti can run streets at 45-50fps. and theres no way you can "definitely" confirm less scavs on streets than lighthouse as you have no evidence of that lmao, I'm basing it off my raids this wipe and whenever I scav on streets I always see gangs of 4-5 scavs running together, called in an airdrop and got basically nothing from it as it got surrounded by 8-9 scavs. never seen that many in one spot before on any map during any wipe.

and bsg confirmed during a stream last wipe that with the latest street expansion the entity number on streets was 80, and with the next expansion it would go up to 100 (this wipe, which i'm guessing didnt happen as it didnt get expanded as planned initially.

theres a very distinct difference between a pscav and a scav. a scav isnt an issue but a pscav is. I joined a streets raid as a scav and killed 2 pmcs at lexos, then omw to extract 2 people were in a building which i ran past and I killed them both. player scavs can be as bad as pmcs, even worse in some cases early wipe as they have better gear, on day 2 of wipe I loaded in with a vepr hunter and bcp fmj 10 round mags with class 4 armor lmao

Due to the nature of scav runs, you can't get a scav run if there is no lobby being created by pmc runs

And if everyone wants to scav instead of pmc, you know, no pmc lobbies to scav into

If you really want to scav then you can try changing your server to one with a lower matchmaking time, although you'll likely have to play with ping above 100 and swap servers again for pmc runs

about the scav queues: the problem is it need some requirements to get a skav queue open, enemy players have to be in the lobby and the raid have been take a quite time runniing so if not people are on or u only queue on 1 single server for example EU central or something the chance getting fast queue is rly low, if u want a garanteed faster queue as a skav look in the serverlist and pick all low queue servers (press on queue times) and take all servers with less then 1min queue u will 100% having a faster queue overall as PMC and skav but if u take regions based on ping but higher queue times like 3-5 mins it can take 10-15mins sometimes or u prob wont even find a lobby

Tarkov is throttling itself down to around 80fps no matter what ingame settings i have. I can run 4K, everything maxed out and have 80fps. Now i put the slider to everything on low and still I get around 80fps. What is weird is that a raid can start out at 200+ fps, but after less than 30 seconds of running around, it slowly degrades and settles at around 80fps. Anyone have any experience with similar problems?

I have run memtest86 with no fails, tried different XMP profiles, tried AI overclocking, tried Cinebench with very good results, tried 3DMark with very good results, tried nvidia settings, tried changing windows settings like fullscreen optimization on/off, game mode on/off, run Tarkov as admin, elevating priority. But nothing seems to make a difference. The game "wants to" be at around 80fps no matter what i change.
