Does anyone know how to solve this bug? I during the preparation of the server to the game, disconnects from the match, giving the error "Lost connection to the server" and no longer allows you to enter the match. The only way to solve it is to cancel the match and wait for a 15 minute cooldown.

yeah. Ppl around 1500 or minus are the beginners. Around 1600 there's the ppl who got their first T3/4 kits but also needs to come back to grind the T1 kits for other trees. Guess what grinding beginner kits while already having a high rating does to ? Lowering GearScore. That's how those ppl with high tier gears ended up in your ranking brackets

Honestly, they need to revisit the entire Idea of how progression works. Because how it works right now is bad. The entire idea of the progression (as we have now) and wanting a competitive esport shooter does not work.
If they want Kits, they should have a Kit and in that Kit are upgrades you can unlock. And then inbetween rounds (while in a match) you can "buy" a set amount of upgrades you have unlocked for your Kit.
So your Kit changes while you play but everybody starts with a basic kit every time they go into a arena round.

some guy already replied, asus 4080 and asus MB are fine IMO, he replied on the ram which I agree with. I would get a 1000 watt gold power supply, or platinum. 4080 takes a lot of power, as well as if you want fans or water cooled, etc. but i have a 3070ti and had a 750 watt power supply and it kept shitting the bed, it was not good. I upgraded to 1000 watt and havent had an issue since. get a quality power supply or youll have shorts and issues. I saw 4070ti's at best buy for like 380$ so idk your budget but get the 4080 but if you cant afford it they have them cheap too. what cpu you running?

the 4080 uses 250 watt on average. i would reccomend a 750-850 watt for a 4080. however, of coursei t also depends on the brand ex; asus, etc for example the asus one uses like 350. i also reccomend going to pcpartpicker and puttin gthe componets of your pc in, checking the estimated watt usage and getting like 50-150 more than that

it takes 320 watts. recommended 850 watt is what it says but you dont want to be pushing your gpu at 100% all the time. also you want room for upgrades and want something you know will last a long time. corsaiw 1000 watt gold plus is the best option. plus if you want rgb etc. its just the smartest move, and also like 30$ more than an 850 watt, psus are cheap compared to everything else and no reason to go short on it.

idk, it will "kinda" blance itself out in terms of ARP. So a good loadout will see you getting more ARP, putting you in lobbies with people who also have good loadouts.
It's a bit weird though, as "skill" can only get you that far. It's the whole "progression vs skill" situation, EFT obviously going more towards progression. Could be solved rather simply by making the stat number actually contribute towards your matchmaking, but even that wouldn't be perfect I don't think.

For most people playing with the "rush in, win or die trying" approach, the loadouts are very unbalanced, I will agree to that :)

I guess that's the playstyle snipers get forced to play since they don't have armor, helmets, or even headsets. Just a big 'ol rifle that doesn't even 1-hit kill.

I'm playing as a sniper, and this arena stuff is definitely not meant for proper sniping. I only play sawmill, and even then you can't really utilise the same sniping tactics I use in regular EFT. in EFT i work 30 min just to get a single kill. I live for the kill.
I'm sitting at 2.7kd now in arena, with the capture time being so low it's really difficult as you can't be close to the capture points while taking advantage of the sniping, usually whenever the timer starts it's just an instant loss.

Regardless though I'm usually top fragger, and I have gained 300 ARP over the 60 matches I've played.

I think maybe the ultimate setup would be to have 3 snipers and 2 "point men" to protect the captures.

You would be correct in playing like that. Most games are testing the patience of your opponent. Whoever moves first tends to lose, although Arena attracts a different type of crowd.

It does depend on the time of day though, as desync gets worse, you'll get a bigger and bigger peekers advantage.

peakers advantage doesn't really mean much for my playstyle, it's all about tactics, concealment, spotting and shot placement. Desync plays little to no affect.
