You wont lose any rep. Friendly Zryachiy is like normal Zryachiy. But from what ive heard he doesnt have any armor, so flesh rounds would be more effective. Stopping the cultists after shouldnt be too hard. Its the PMCs, extract campers, cheaters and buggy extracts you have to worry about

First, I'm sorry that you feel that 200 hours are not that many, they are, enough to have understood everything that Tarkov has to offer and start practicing it.
Second, knowledge helps you up to a certain time, but it won't help you in combat no matter how much people use it as an excuse.

This event only affects your ability in some raids, not all, because it only starts when you kill Zyrachi for the first time, also most of the time the Chads finish the ritual in a matter of minutes, and even so, an extraction is still enabled so you can leave, by the way, maybe for you the event that lasts just 2 days is an unbearable hindrance, for many other people, it is just what draws you back to Tarkov after stopped for probably months, you are right about that, time will simply make you understand.

Bringing a sawed-off shotgun as your secondary every raid is a good option to kill scavs while under the effect of the event.

You can load it with some AP-20.

As for your overweight issue, using a mule is probably your best option combined with an SJ6. I personally don’t think massive maps with little cover like Shoreline are good options to run during this event.

I don't completely agree with that.
Class 4 should be a must requirement, at least this late into the wipe.
If the only goal is to get bang for the buck then you should go for something with less recoil than an M4. M4 doesn't become good enough unless you put down a lot of money into it, making the use of 856A1 a very stupid decision as you've put all your money into mods and nothing into ammo.
You'd be better off with a completly different gun.

Alright I've done some research now and yes, I'm not quite sure how my simulation ended up at 35%, when the actual number is like you said at 55.3 %
55% pen is by no way a golden standard though. the first bullet might not pen, and even if it does the damage will be reduced by a lot.
Might work for full auto to the chest, but by no means a headhunting bullet.
M855a1 has a 94% chance of penning. In reality because of how penetration chance scales with pen, the goal should always be to get n * 10+1 pen if you want to pen an **n **class armor, as this is the point that you reach over 90% and any higher pen values will equal to a much more reduced increase in pen chance.

Example against class 4:
37 pen = 55.3%
38 pen = 65.1%, increase of 9.8%

41 pen = 91.1 %
42 pen = 92.7%, increase of 1.6%

m856A1 just doesn't cut it as a one shot bullet, where as 855a1 does.

And since I'm feeling particularly feisty. I'll throw in the variable of distance into the equation as well.
Unless you're a labs chad like @lucid peak over here, you're going to be firing at distances in the 50-100m a lot of the time in tarkov. Of course depends a lot on your playstyle, but at some point you're going to find yourself in that range regardless so it's best to be prepared.

At 100m M855a1 drops down to 91.02% against class 4.
m856a1 on the other hand sits down at 35.1 % (the stat I mentioned before was for 100m, apprenetly :P)

At 200 meters it just get's worse for the poor m856a1 as it falls all the way down to 21%, while 855A1 is still better than what m856A1 originally started at, with 38 pen giving it a pen chance of 65%
If you're anything but a close range player, 856a1 is an absolute must avoid, the bullet simply does not have what it takes to fight against class 4.

I'd say we're all winners :) I at least have won a whole lot of EFT bullet ballistics knowledge that I had previously skimmed over mistakenly.

I time and time again come to the conclusion that if you are a sniper, the ultimate headshot bullet always seems to be M855A1.
Bodyshots make for a different conversation, as M80 is a relevant bullet. but as a headhunter the math is quite simple. The marksman role.
The goal is to find the "best" bullet that is somewhat accessible. Not FIR only.

The right of the bat requirment will be to pen class 4, as if you can't pen class 4 what are you even doing...
Further more you will have to reliably pen class 4 at ranges up to

Here good looking bullets like 5.45 bs falls short as it is no longer able to headshot over 100m. So the effective pen at 100m should be over 41, although if there's a clear winner just below this parameter I'll keep that in mind.
Same goes for igolnik, 545bt and m995.

At these ranges you ideally want a weapon with sub 1.5 MOA to be able to consistently hit headshots. Going above 1.3 MOA is going to mean that even with a perfectly aimed shot there is a chance of missing

.300 blackout falls short as it doesn't have an accurate enough weapon to be used with at longer ranges. Choosing to look aside from the accuracy issues this caliber has, CBJ is a decent bullet that might very well be the king in mid-tier levels. Lvl 15++

7.62x39 PP doesn't have enough pen to be viable, and so even though it can have significantly better accuracy than .300 blackout, it still falls short. The two are very close though, but the chance of missing a shot with the CBJ bullet is lower than the chance of penning a shot with PP. .300 though really is not meant for ranges over 100m, and so isn't the optimum bullet at all.

7.62 BP suffers from a similiar accuracy problem, where the effective range is around the 150m mark. It's starting to get somewhere, but it's still not what I'd call good, and at lvl 45 you should be able to use better bullets.

This leaves us with M855A1, x51 and x54.
As high end ammo's I'm going to remove tracer bullets as these just don't cut it for marksman like combat.
So we end up with M855a1, M61, BS, SNB, M80, LPS and PS

M80 doesn't have the pen required, so that bullet is removed,
LPS is just outshined by PS, no point in going further there.
Both PS and SNB and BS are more or less identically awesome as they all shred through class 4. PS is only effective up to around 200m, so if possible get SNB or BS, but PS is still a viable bullet.

Alright, so now we're in the "finals", with M855A1, M61, and any of the 7.62x54 cals.
Here it's not that much about pen, and we're looking more at bullet velocity and compatible weapons.
Any of the bullets are viable at the effective distances you will expect to run into in tarkov.
All these bullets have weapons with respectable accuracies within the 1.5 threshold.

For x54 Avoid BS if possible because it's velocity sees it getting a steeper bullet drop off rate. You're better off with SNB or PS, best round being SNB.

The bullets now all have similar drop-offs. So at this point, unless you're trying to pick people off at ranges greater than 200m, the bullets will perform more or less identically. Here comes the ups and down to each bullet:

m855A1: The fastest traveling bullet. A headhunter's dream within 200 meters. The most stealthy shot out of the bunch. Lacking in all other compartments, not great at short range.

M61: The lowest velocity, meaning greater skill must be used to land accurate shots. Has drastically higher damage than m855a1, allowing it to outshine it in closer range as well body shots. Has great weapon opportunities and does not make an awfully distinctive sound. Most likely the most effective bullet at cqc.

x54: Being inbetween the velocity of M855A1 and M61, this round is a good allrounder and is the go to for shots over 200m (Only SNB). The biggest struggle of this round is that you're binding yourself to the SVD for semi-auto fire. The SVD has an extremely distinctive sound, and is a tough weapon to work with. The PS round being a lot more accessible allows this build to be a less "headhunter" focused marksman setup than what the m855A1 round offers, and is also the only round out of the bunch available from lvl 15 traders (although early wipe class 4 helmets aren't that common)

As for which of the three you should be using... If you don't think the downsides of running an SVD are that large, then SNB is the way to go. Otherwise it's a tossup between M855a1 and M61. I do personally think M855A1 is the favourable bullet to go with, as you benefit from higher velocity and lower noise signature. Howerver, if you struggle hitting headshots, M61 is going to be the better bullet, while still offering a decent sound profile.

A noteworthy struggle with M61 is the fact that is that it takes a 18 hours to craft 80 M61.

M855a1's effective class 4 defeating distance is 200m, where it deals 42.28 damage. Even accounting for armor damage mitigation it should still be within 35 damage.

1 MOA equals to a 3cm radius of accuracy at 100m.
I'm not quite sure about how large the tarkov PMCs head is, but I'm just going to use an 9cm radius to be generous.
with a 9cm radius you've got to have an MOA of under 3 in order to have 100% chance of getting a headshot at 100m, assuming you aim perfectly at center of the head.
With 1 MOA you will be able to have the same 100% chance of hitting a headshot at 300m.
To be able to hit a consistent headshot at 200m you will need an MOA of 1.5 to have a 100% chance of hitting a headshot, assuming you aim dead center.

Accuracy is definitely a very real factor when trying to hit shots at longer distance.

pick up a pistol with 9+ MOA and try to headshot some scav at 50m. it'll show you how much accuracy actually plays part in hitting stuff.

Important to remember though is that if you use a weapon with 2 MOA at 200 meters (Which is REALLY far btw, way further than you'd actually think), the chance of hitting a headshot is still very high.

Let's use a head radius of 8cm, should be pretty close to real numbers.
The area of the head will be pi*radus squared, giving it an area of 200 square CM.
With 2 MOA you will hit up to 12 cm away from aim point at 200m
that will give you a possible hit area of 452 square CM.
Being just over twice the area of the head.
so you'd expect to get about 40% hits

I do think however that in reality bullets don't completely randomly land within that area, and rather may stray up to that area but the majority of shots will be closer to center. I'm guessing the actual chance of hit at 200m with 2 moa is closer to 60-70%, maybe higher.
This is something that I'm not completely certain about, would love to know more if anyone has knowledge to share!
Assuming my "guess" is correct, the chance of hitting is still rather high, and is easily chucked up to bad aim or bullet drop, etc. if you do miss.

Scopes is far from a crutch. At close range it's 100% a massive downside in using scopes, and spraying just isn't viable.
Scopes reward people for being patient and placing their shots. It's literally just what you'd imagine a scope doing.

yeah ref. my calculations with 2 MOA at 200m giving roughtly 40-70% accuracy (depending on how wrong my guess is).
With 1.5 MOA you're guaranteed to hit a headshot at 200m, in tarkov you'll rarely ever find opportunities to take shots at those ranges. Most longer range kills happen between 100 and 200m.
For example, on customs if you stand on the "island" side of the main bride and look toward the large silo tower with the sniper scav on it on the other side of the bridge, that's 400m. That's 1/3 of the way across the entire map.
A weapon with 1 MOA will be able to shoot dead accurate shots at 300m. You will most likely not ever see anyone that far away, let alone shooting them!
200 meters really is the cap to how far away it is feasible to spot and elimitate targets in tarkov. So having under 1.5 moa is simply going to allow you to aim slightly off while still being able to hit the shot.

To set into perspective for you.
I like to play tarkov as a ghost. I don't wear a helmet, I wear the bush hat.
I don't shoot scavs because it will give away my position. I live for the kill, i will crawl around in bushes for half an hour just to get into a killing spot to take out whoever it is I'm hunting down.

No one sees me, and the moment they hear a shot, I am gone before they can even turn their head. I usually get 1-2 PMC kills per raid, and surviving on average 7-8 raids in a row before I inevitable F up and get a bullet to the face.

A scope isn't a crutch for me as much as it is a necessity. You're never going to be able to hit shots at these distances without a scope.

For me, scopes is a way to allow tactics and positioning to be the driving force behind a fight, not wiggle peaking, grenade throwing, desync rushing and having the better aim.
If I was sent into tarkov in real life, this is how I would've been working. As a ghost.

With this point of view, you saying that scopes are a crutch is like saying that tarkov shouldn't be played in this way, where the game should be played aggressively and that being tactical and strategic about how you move through the map should be irrelevant.
Now yes, it's an exaggeration, but it shows my point.

The hard truth is that you, as a person who pushes in wins it all or dies trying, you will near always lose to a person who plays as a ghost, as you will either be dead before you spot the guy, or if you spot him, he will reposition and you'll never see him again, well, unless he decides that you are supposed to die, in which case you'll see his name on the end screen next to (head, eyes).

There's nothing you can do to take him down, only another ghost, is able to see him, and defeat him.

Saying that way of playing is bad... a crutch? the answer seems pretty clear in my eyes.

I've played since the second ever wipe, I've done it all in tarkov. hell I played an entire wipe only running around in labs farming raiders and keycards. This wipe I decided to be a ghost, and it's been by far the best wipe I've ever had, simply because of how much enjoyment I get out of using positioning to defeat my enemies.
