No. It’s all quality of life. Prepare for escape edition is good value that most don’t talk about. Lvl 3 stash, upgraded container, increased trader rep (which is huge for a new player) . How long have you played this game for?

Worth noting that EOD will let you play the new EFT Arena coming out. The extra starting gear is only slightly helpful but it is helpful, the stash size increase is amazing. Honestly the most important benefit is the Initially good standing with all in-game traders, which you still get with the Prepare for Escape edition.

Rubber banding is desync but it is a different desync issue than what we are used to.

BSG changed how they handle server latency so there should be a lot less issues with other people desyncing (lagging a couple frames before where they actually are) and a lot more of you rubber banding when your player character doesnt update

Desync (as in the phenomenon in tarkov where event playback is displaced) is just a result of the desynchronization of data between the client and server sides. The rubber banding from the latest update seems to be a result of BSG trying to address resynchronization between the client and server. Which is why I said that the rubber banding is a result of desync and is inherently the same issue.

And peeker’s advantage is desync because it literally is “event playback being displaced” as you said
