I don’t agree that making pvp less predicable would make it better. After the first 10 minutes pass in a raid, almost anything can happen. Knowing how many players are in the map with you and where they can potentially spawn allows you to plan your raid and predict their movement

That’s my point though, most of the predictable “competitive” PVP happens in the first 10 to 15 minutes. So with the current system the experienced pvpers get to have their fun while the pve enjoyers can play the long game and wait out the first big rush of pvp

After the initial burst of action the maps become a lot less predictable and therefor they start to resemble the gameplay loop i think you’re describing.

I have an idea for the recoil system in tarkov. RN most off us can agree is dogshit. a trained PMC does not look up in the sky when shooting, while controlling the recoil of a fully kitted m4 worse than some youtuber with an unmodified AKM.

Remove the part where you look up in the sky, ur a pmc.
Make it so that BEARS have good recoil control with their standard duty equipment, and vice versa with USEC.
Scavs are randomised with this, considering some scavs are just civs, and some are ex pmc's. You spawn as a scav with a weapon that has low durability? it shows that the scav has most likely already used it before, and knows it. Full durability? Scav has most likely not used it, and will not be that good with it.

When your pmc or scav picks up a weapon they havent used before, it takes some sprays to get a hang of it properly [no insane camera recoil where you look at the sky, but some screen shake]

Any thoughts and input around this?
