The only problem is that BSG's community is a much of fucking 12 year olds now that do not know what BETA means and they are constantly moaning about how the game costed 90 pounds while its more like 30. They have even been comparing beta's and pre-releases with Tarkov. Which is consisted by a small EUROPEAN team and talking about servers. 90% does not know what developing a game means and what a huge spike of players coming in a game means. On 0.11 and 0.10 there were no issues like this but now its actually happening and people show no respect to the developers. BiS has far more competent devs than BSG might ever, because of their economy. the problem with DayZ was trying to manipulate an engine from 1999/2000 beyond it's limits. Now that they got off Operation Flashpoint engine, everythings fine.

@warm idol nope. BIS has had the issue of using OFP engine because the original developer team who made that engine left. Every BiS product with the exception of "take On" series has been that engine. Arma 2, Arma 3, DayZ pre 1.0.
and since the developers left, they could only bandaid fix issues which just snowballed into worse issues.

precise420 think of like this your a 14 man crew you have a game and a player base and you build based off your expected growth. now all of a sudden shroud plays it your growth get massive you still are only a 14 man dev team and are still developing said game but now your player base is 12x the amount you expected. the servers you made and have are not ready for that amount of players and now these 14 ppl are trying to do all they can to fix backend issues and still develop said game. i think you need to put the shoe on the other foot and think about that.

Sound in the game is mega fucked in some areas, and sometimes the servers are jsut fucked and the game doesnt register the sound on your end. Also, from the info you've provided it sounds like you were either one tapped, died of dehydration or starved, possibly even desynced really bad and randomly died. ITs happened to me before. Just look at the death screen and it should tell you who or what killed you

My brother runs server, and works on servers for IBM... They leave servers on for ages... Rarely to ever turn them off, unless there is something seriously wrong; or a large scale upgrade or something.
