In theory your idea would work, but Discord is home to a certain niche of the tarkov community, different from the streamer followers and Reddit users. Trying to fold them all into one may only cause more harm than good.

It's one of various attempts of challenging authority by implying that someone who holds it is supposed to be an empty, mindless being not allowed to express any emotions that could be interpreted negatively by the recipient. First of all, when I say don't question mod decisions, you interpreted it in a broader, almost philosophical kind of way. When I said that I was refering to the rules, which state that our decisions are not to be subject of any public discussion on the server. How you can appeal is also explained there. That doesn't mean that mods are perfect in any sense or kind of the imagination. Anyone could understand that if they used common sense for just a few seconds, but that's my opinion.
