Tbh the way I play a lot of old games is I hook my PC up to my CRT
Cause the "natural anti-aliasing" from the garbage display gets rid of a lot of the visual jank, not to mention a lot of games were designed with those in mind. Wouldnt apply to Mass Effect since its recent enough but especially early 3D titles like DC, PS1 and N64
SNES and NES games I ironically enjoy more emulated with super sharp pixels

I never had the opportunity to play a lot of games around the millenia that only released on consoles because I wasn't allowed to own one. I won't go through the trouble to play them on console now either.

I was sceptical and got the game late as it went on sale. Not gonna lie it really took me to get used to it or to find pleasure in playing it for some time because I didn't know anything about MGS in general so it was all very generic for me. The already small potential the bits and pieces of story hold are wasted on people who never played MGS before too.
The greatest mistake was that the first time MGS comes to PC they ruin it for all the newcomers to the audience by making it the MGS game with the most bland story of all of them.
