early game you gotta focus on powering through the intro quests to unlock hideout crafts and stuff for your traders to sell you, also level your traders. It's a good idea to keep a CMS in your secure case so you don't have to buy a new one every round

guns have a chance to malfunction after something like 93 dura, or 85, I forget, but it's not very many shots til they start to malfunction which is cringe. If you're using scav guns remember they come half broken so when you get into your hideout repair them if you wanna use them again

I'd also recommend mapping your inspect weapon keybind to press, and your check chamber/fix malfunction keybind to the same key but on release, so you hold the inspect key until you get a notification that says it knows what the issue is, then you release and it'll auto fix the gun

games like this are tough to get into but rewarding

on pmc yall spawn together if you are in a group. on scavs you spawn not too far from eachother. There is no respawning into the same raid tho
