In my opinion, early game Tarkov is Tarkov at its best. EOD gives advantages to speed up progression which lets you get out of early game faster.

I’d say regardless of your preference, play out a wipe on Standard Edition before considering the upgrade. Or at the very least, get into the game enough that you’re certain you enjoy it before upgrading.
