I feel that. I used to get a feeling of not wanting to go into raids, but wanting to play Tarkov. I took me about 3 wipes before things really clicked and now I can play this game without feeling totally stressed. You just need to put yourself out there, move quick on your objectives, and get out alive. You’ll die a lot but that’s the only way to learn and gain confidence over time.

What quality pc does it take to run Tarkov? I have a notebook laptop that can run a decent amount of games, but I'm skeptical that it can run Tarkov, despite a benchmark website saying it's more than capable. It's a an Acer Swift 3 4700u, 8g RAM, 512g storage, integrated graphics.

I started out by trying to learn the maps, and the cache locations on those maps. Mapwiki up in one screen and slink around finding those locations while I listen around to get the feel of movement on each map. This allowed doing actual raids for quests and kills easier for me, and made me more comfortable on the map due to knowing some spots already I could run to depending on where sound was coming at me from.
