Last wipe was 12th of December and first Kappa's were achieved on 1st Of January. However, with some changes to quests like SBIH (and we don't know what else higher up yet) it might have been increased in difficulty so perhaps a tad longer. Generally speaking, the longest grind isn't the quests but the XP to 62. So we will see 🙂

8gb of ram is almost impossible to run, so 16gb ram would be considered minimum
then any processor that can hit 3.0-3.5GHz single core with at least 4 cores
and any gpu over a 1060 (possibly even inferior)

You want headphones or earbuds because with speakers the sound isn’t around it’s towards you having headphones will allow you to pin point noises much better than without you don’t have to turn up the sound really loud either just have it loud enough where you can play comfortably you learn the tiny hints of sound over time but playing without headphones is like riding a bike blindfolded with someone telling you where to go.

You find a lot of hideout stuff in toolboxes, on shelves in houses, and in garage areas with workbenches and stuff, a lot of maps have those laying around the map, but easier maps for that are probably Shoreline, Interchange, customs, because of the amount of loot around the map

I get a solid 75-90 fps on most maps, very little to no stuttering as well. I adjust my brightness on PostFX according to time of day and if I am inside or not, depending on how bright things are.
Also when I am sniping, I turn up overall visibility

Yeah you always get .01 for extracting as a scav & then another .01 for car extract at it's minimum. Adds up to .02 for using it once you've done that specific extract a handful of times.

There's other maps - but you have to use one. When learning initially using mapgenie there, I'd suggest hiding all the icons except for 'extractions' and 'locations'

I sadly had two kill two player scavs who started aiming at me as I was extracting my first scav run, I am currently just letting people kill me now... I really didn't wanna start out like that on my scav karma. I had a labs card and other good loot so I had to kill them.

Customs/interchange/shoreline, I would say woods, but after it had areas added it can be a bit confusing still.

factory is the easiest map but it's a fucking meat grinder so i'd recommend customs lol

Ummm, depending on your goal, less dangerous than Customs, more open loot, more options, less chokepoints. But only a few extracts so that makes for easy extract camping somtimes
