Their AI routine is:

1. (They see you) {ANGRY RUSSIAN GIBBERISH}

3. They proceed to fire at you until their aim becomes perfect and you die

If you are fighting a scav, you need to kill them before they take their second shot. If you cannot do so, break line of sight completely (not a pixel sticking out!) and wait 20 seconds or so
