Careful, if you find friendly PMC's, it's often a good idea to be nice in return. Often times as a PMC, being nice is all that's saved me from being rolled by big teams - so just be careful.

Technically speaking the game wants you to kill other players, if you somehow stumble upon a friendly player and if they tell you not to shoot, it's up to you whether you shoot or not
Considering I got betrayed like that leaving PMCs alive only for them to shoot me in the back as I leave it's honestly like a 50/50
