Just take this time to get familiar with any map tbh.
I'd say as a beginner:

Interchange: best for materials for hideout
Customs: has a fair few early quests, but is a hard map for solo players
Reserve: good for early quest items
Woods: good for early quest items, also the map with the lowest average level after factory
Shoreline: don't bother until quests bring you there, high end PvP in the middle of the map and average loot elsewhere
Factory: PvP-only map, wouldn't recommend as a beginner
Lighthouse: best loot map in the game but contains difficult AI. Also no early quests will have you go here.
